1. Werner Kruger- Totally useless. At least he is no longer in the squad. Should never have been considered.

4. Flip Flop Van Der Merve. Can someone please explain the rules of rugby to this penalty machine. Is he involved with match fixing?- as he enters the game he gives away a penalty. Is their any bookies giving odds on this type of thing?

7. Potgieter. Not enough intelligence to play at bok level. Very predictable to any opposition. Possibale teleportion back to the caveman era.

9. Hougaard. Probably our best wing in the current squad, being waisted at scrumhalf.

The guy is not a natural passer of the ball - and a noticeable improvement happens as soon as Pienaar enter

the game. Hougaard is to slow to clear the ball from rucks. Ok our rucks are terribale at the moment- but Pienaar is playing with the same challenge and deals with it much better. Why is Hougaard still starting at scrumhalf?

10 Morne Steyn- any of the other top 3 Super15 flyhalf than the least creative flyhalf in world rugby. Too critical? Well compare him to the flyhalfs of all the top 8 nations in the world.

Even PDV lost faith in this Steyn and moved him to fullback during last years tri-nations to keep his then reliable pole kicking boot in the game, and remove the deabiliating effect he has a flyhalf. Lambie should be at 10.

15- Zane Kirchner. Another player who is allmost as uncreative as Morne Steyn. When he enters the backline he never passes. Aplon is much better in attack and defence. Lambie is much better in attack and defence

He just gets tackled regardless of how many players are outside of him. Between the 2 of them they do not have the creativity

to create a paper aeroplane.

-------

If Meyer sticks with his unrelentless faith in substandard Bulls players I suggest that he is removed from his post at the end of year. The boks should be made up of our top players- not a development platform for the Bulls players. Either he has Blue tinted glasses and honestly cant see the better players or he is on the blue bull company payroll.

Sharkbok

I agree with you 100% - but you left out a couple of others.   What about Spies and Greyling?   Geyling is on par with Werner Kruger and Spies is a player to fill out the team selection and vring it to 15 players - he plays for about 5 minutes a game and is not seen for the other 75 minutes.

 @Mike  - valid points.

The reason I did not metion Gayling is that he has not been involved in any games.

As for Spies- I am have been one of his major critics. However some games he does add a bit of value. He is a lineout option and does take kick offs. He also is a decent carrier in some games. Although I agree that he does not metrit a starting position due to his lack of playing onto the ball(fetching)- allrounder. Also his carrying has not been good enough for years. So all in all not a consistent enough. However he is a good player sometimes- not like some of the other substadard Bulls that just should not be in squad. I do not think Spies should be in the bok team, but he is better than most of the Bulls players- the sub standard ones getting a free ticket

There are now only four Bulls left in the entire squad and they are now kakker than what they were in the first test against the Pomms, and you are still blaming the Bulls players. Beast and Jannie were pathetic on Saturday. Alberst was no real game breaker either.

You are pissing about the one penalty that Vd Merwe gave away. What about the two by Coetzee, and the ones by Etzebeth, Du Plessis, Frans Steyn, Habana and Alberts.

You are so hell-bent on your crusade against the Bulls that you cannot see the wood from the trees.  Your first goto is always the Bulls players.

Sob, sob the poor bulle players getting criticised. How can sharkbok be so mean!!! Bwahahahaha meanwhile you criticise the Stormers at every opportunity windpomp. Beeno holding up a mirro for poor windpomp! What a shock he is getting.

windpomp can you explain why loubscher who I underatand coached the bulle vodacom sides backline, is now the Bok backline coach. (I am holding faith with Meyer dispite stress  like this appointment).

Sharkbok given that the opposition is waiting for Alberts to run at them from the middle of the backline etc what excatly do you expect? Potgieter did a lot of work and wasnt nearly as bad as some make out.

The fact is, we could have the 15 best players in the wolrd. If they played TOTALLY predicatble rugby they would not have look good. Mallet is absolutely correct - Carter would have flopped on Saturday if h ewere paying for the Boks.

If I as a tennis/Squash player hit the ball to the same place in the court every time I will get slaughtered. You have to mix it up. Going to ground all the time is killing us.  However we must then have players in position to take the pass/offload. We must also have forwards that can provide us with go forward ball.

Ou windpomp is right. Jannie and Beast are not up to the required standard.  He and his friemds are picking up on things I have been saying for years now. Takes time for the penny to drop in some  quarters! Hahahahahahahhahaha

In other word it is a bit difficult to shine when playing in a sterile game plan of up and unders. A Moz stated so obviously you do need skills to add to your power.

well are you not doing a 180 on your previous posts hey beeno. thanks for stating the obvious beeno. moz me sharkboks radtad co have been calling for a skill full approach for a long time but finally after the rather rubbish performance on saterday we finally saw how big forwards got turned over by smaller quicker strong players.

i dont condone the provicialism here were are talking about the boks here so were the players are from has no bearing to there ablitys. mallet is a hasbeen and only knows how to provide entertainment if the shoe was on the other foot you have seen similair tactics by him. he has done noting since coaching the boks and it will remain so.

on the point of carter offcourse if carter played for the boks he would not have been create...no shit captain obvious i bet you 50 million zim dollars he would have been another kicking donkey like grant or morne.

your statement that we go to the ground way to much. what do you expect if the tacts are hell bent on running ball carriers attacking around the contact area of a ruck hey beeno ???? the poor skillset of the players at the ruck shows that they is a major lack of detail by the coaching stuff and learning and protecting there own ball. the offloading game in contact is a high risk high reward approach and requires the required training and condifence to use it correctly. cant play that way if the ball posession is slow the defence will line it up and it will be ineffective.

on the remarks of the props if you knew anything about rugby beeno you would know that the forwards as a collective unit scrums not just the frontrows. adrian is new to the setup and i can see they lacked a bit of cohesion at times and bekker was the major weakpoint on the scrumming side. seems like his back is still a issue but collectively as a unit they did not dominate but the pumas are the best scrummers in the world techincally. they are the only country in the world that uses a different binding system coupled that with short strong forwards works very very well for them. the pumas scrum is very strong always was and will always be strong.

a week ago beeno you were saying we can put in a 940 kg pack and run over everyone....arent we flip flopping now hey ????

the bigger boys were caught out by a up tempo game and the forwards got matched and the whole game plan fell to bits after that. they should have seen this but as i thought there was no plan b so the playing model was just flawed

Ceradyne, the general consensus is that Bulls players get favoured even if they are not the best in their positions. There are now even jokes about it http://sarugby.com/forum.cfm?threadid=2075

Look at this blog or any other rugby website and everyone is getting sick on the one dimensional kick and chase game plan.

Morne Steyn is totally predictable and so is Zane Kirchner.  Everyone is complaing about the one dimensional game plan- and mostly the one dimensional bulls players who have been the worst in most of the tests.

Their is far more than 4 Bulls players in the squad. Their was 4 in the starting 15. Only Hougard should really be in the starting team.

Hougard should be the only Blue Bull in the 22 selected for a test out of the present squad..

You are forgetting that Beast has been a flop so far. Mvovo well nothing special there, Fransie to be the next donkey with all the crash balls, Bekker also been average. But i agree that when it comes to Bok rugby the best needs to be chosen

I will give Mvovo credit for  fantastic S15 season, but this level just isn't for him.

We have an issue at 9,10,14 and15. I could keep the others, if HM could just put his hand up and say "sh*t I was wrong ok sorry" and fix these backline nightmares.
