Kirchner, Habana, Jean, Morne, Potgieter, Cilliers and Liebenberg must go.

If we want to compete against Oz and NZ, we need to see the following side:

15. Lambie 14. Jordaan 13. JJ 12. Frans 11. Mvovo 10. Goosen 9. Hougaard 1. Beast 2. Strauss 3. Jannie 4. Etzebeth 5. Bekker 6. Kolisi 7. Vermeulen 8. Coetzee

Today only Hougaard and Etzebeth were on the button. The rest were borderline average to piss piss poor.

If Meyer has any metal, that will have been usleless Morne's last ever test for the Boks - as my Pom mate said to me watching that match - he is the worst flyhalf he has seen in years - reminded him of Rob Andrew

Sadly Meyer will stick with this sad excuse of a pivot and we will get thumped in the weeks to come. Hell he cant even kick for poles now

How can habana go, but also have the luxury of being selected in your side? Make your mind up.

sorry mate but as some people have said before, you pick up on 1 or 2 players and pretend that you know their grandfather, their jockey size and which shoe lace that they tie first before a game.

Get over JJ. He is decent and may go one one day to be a bok regular, but he is 100% not ready to be a Bok. You are losing credibility here by the way u go on abOut him.

PIWE do agree on kirch

Morne- ok I am totally sick of him. I would rather watch a bok team lose and play for positive rugby than Morne rubbish.

Kirchner= Totally useless. Only a Bull coach would play him.

Potgieter= more stupidity. When Daniels came on- when he got involved it was evident that he had some form of brain matter.

Jean= Some one dimensional crashball stuff.

Cilliers = not sure why he was on the field. He was crap but he was not a bull so I can understand.

Liebenberg= I did not even realise he entered the scene.

I agree with most of the team proposed by Saffex- even if this team does not win right away it is building something. If we stick with Morne and Zane Kirchner I know we will lose and be less interested to watch the games- if something else pops up that has more value. The sub standard Bulls must stuff off. Clearly they are not good enough

Saffwx

You have some really predictable solutions in your team selections abnd although I agree with some - there are other useless players that you kept on playing - that was part of the major problem encountered in tje POM series and in the tests against the Argentinians that you want to retain.

The backline was the key to the tests disasters under Meyer.   Planless and totally clueless.   The problems started with the scrummie and goes through to the full back.   The real issue is not only the players - but also the backline coach.   What else do you expect from a backline coached by Loubscher?

Despite his try last night - one of the key backline problems is Francois Steyn and the other is Hougaard.   The latter's service is hopeless.   No improvement in last nights test.   We need a real scrummie - not a re-conditioned one.   Somebody that can pass to the backline fast - not running a few steps and then pass.   In any event his kicks were as aimless as those of Morne and Francois Steyn.

Kirchner - agree whole-heartedly.   Put in Lambie or if he ever start playing again even Taute.

Pietersen is a WING - don't try and put him at 13 - where he has all the wrong attacking and defensive lines.  He never was really a success there.   Mvovo was clueless last night and he brings nothing into the game.   Put Pietersen on the wing and don't try and promote a player that has a long way to go to play on international level.

In any event at least De Villiers tried some things like skip passes - his center partner tried NOTHING   The latter's charge down try was a real accident - not part of any move or anything.   We should get a new center combination to try and instill some life into that backline - but if you retain Francois Steyn like he plays at present - you are onto a dead donkey.   Try some youngsters - rather than FATSO and De Villiers and do not dissipate a top wing the way you propose.   Incidentally if you come up with real centers I would support anybody to replace the present two.   Just on more thing - if he was so good, why did Racing Metro not renew their contract with Francois Streyn?  The latter looks more and more like a prima donna to me.   Come now - some real centers will do the trick -so start thinking about younger players.

Morne Steyn - together with an insde center like Francois Steyn is a killer of any effective backline.   Although Goosen did not show much in his return match - he is to my mind a better proposition thatn Morne.   Put Hougaard and Francois Steyn both sides of him and he will fail miserably.

Bring in a real scrummie - not a recycled one - and with that I mean a scrummie that could vary his game according to circumstances with a fast and effective service to the backline.   How many times was hre caught with the ball last night and how many kicks of his was in any way effetive?   Look at that and come up with a scrummie.

Your looose forward combination is utterly predictable.  I watched the CC game yesterday and especially wanted to see how Vermeulen and Kolisi perform.   Vermeulen showed some real class - Kolisi was nowhere to be found.   The latter may show some real potential - but he is NOT really ready for selection and the question is - would he ever be?    Would destroy him to select him too soon.   Put Vermeulen at 8 and Coetee at 6.   Now for the other loosie.   The one player that showed some real class in recent CC games was CJ Stander.   He should be in the mix despite his overseas contract and even Louw would be better than Alberts.   Better still get Kankowski back.

The rest of the forward selection is OK - but I would never ever select Strauss as first choice hooker - he was partly to blame for the initial line out problem with inaccurate throw ins and showed very little otherwise.   Do we miss Bismarck?   His injury was a real disaster.

Nowhere ever did you mention the backline coach - so I would say AGAIN AND AGAIN get rid of Loubscher as backline coach - he is and was a disastrous cjoice as a coach.

Flash - kak man - JJ is a quality player and just what we need at 13. We need a player with zip, one with a step and swerve who is going to try beat the man without trying to run into him. Sure its the test arena and there will always be the need to take the direct route, but bloody hell not predictably every time. So I am losing credibility because I rate JJ - wake up man, he is on the Bok bench so very much in the picture, so what the hell are you on about. We have nothing to lose and everything to gain by trying JJ at 13 ahead of the past it one dimensional Jean.

Habana needs to stay until JP returns, however I have just realised Jordaan is not injured as I thought he originally was so out goes Habana to be replaced by Jordaan.

Mike you clearly were watching a different test and yet again come up with the biggest load of crap i have read in ages. Hougaard was excellent last night, his service was brilliant. He was by some distance our best player, followed only by Etzebeth. Extra credit needs to go to Hougaard given he was still able to get that ball away as he did, despite no protection from his forwards.

As for Frans he had a solid game and I am getting a little tired or hearing your anti - if you cant see the stability this guy gives to the backs despite having a useless 10 inside him then you clearly know nothing about centre play - which is pretty apparent given your anti of JP at 13, when in fact he was brilliant there at times.

Frans was our best back along with JP against the Poms, he like the rest of the Boks has been below par against the Argies. The real Bok problem in the backs is not the backs coach, its the fact that we have an unimaginative pivot in useless Morne and a past it retreaded 12 at 13.........with these two players in the Bok backline, we will never score tries and dominate opponents. I have been saying it from day one and the results are proving me right week after week.

Morne and Jean have to go NOW

Saffex

I did not watch a different game from the real one - you must just look at the first maul and see what Hougaard did with that ball.   He was caught a number of times with the ball and his kicking game was poor - so how come he was the best player on the field.

Then your take on Francois Steyn.   He brings stability to the backline - - what a load of crap.   I always was a great admirer of this guy - but he has done nothing to indicate that he is NOT PLAYING ON REPUTATION - his performance generally is POOR at present.   Stability means nothing if the result is zero avancement and that was the case again last night - no spark in that backline and I blame Hougaard and both Steyns for that shortcoming.   O yes blame Morne Steyn and let the other two off the hook.   Remove Morne and the result would be the same.   If Goosen is brought in - which I support - please give him some support and remove Mr Slow Service and Mr FATSO Stability as well - or he would be faced with the same problem and then get the blame for it.

Morne, Beast, Jannie, Hougie, Cilliers, Liebenberg, Frans, Bekker,Jean, Flip Flop have to be relegated to the bench or the stands as they are not delivering.

Beast and Jannie are possibly the poorest props at present to wear green and gold. Cilliers, Bekker are overated and the rest are just plain kak.

Finish and klaar.

I think that Arthur John has a point insofar as the players are concerned.   He did not mention one of the worst under-performers - namely Kirchner, so I will add his name to the list.   Some of them are really bad and should not in the squad.   Van der Merwe. Kirchner and Potgiter are three of those, Of the others Bekker had an off day after an inhury and tto replace him after one off-day is not realistic.   Cilliers did not nothing - but was better off the bench than Werner kruger and useless Greyling.

We have a restricted game plan - which Meyer will never abandon - so Morn is assured of his place in the team.   Francois Steyn needs a major wake up call - and unless that happen soon - he is not fit to continue playing for the Springboks.   However, as a supplement for Morne Steyn in the kicking game - he is essential to Myer's game plan and would remain in the team.

I would begin by dropping the three mentioned players from the squad and bring in more competent players onto the bench - but that would still leae us with morne Steyn and a disfunctional game plan,

well i fear the knives are being sharpend if there is no a major change in Hm approach. his size obesessed forward kicking game is being snuffed out by the likes of the pumas.

HM's biggest excuse is that they all play rugby in france....so second tier club level players are decent enough to force a draw against the boks. wow that statement in itself is massive. the wallies and ab's are waiting in the wings. we think this game was bad they areas that we got exposed is meat and drink for the other teams
