Sounds convenient or is it ironic at a time when blacks are supposed to be added to the team they're being kicked out.

Who were those two wingers that played for the Baby boks? Turned the game around against our junior ABs. They're the type of players you need in the squad . Players of the future perhaps.

Too many whites in the team don't you think? To be honest the All Blacks could also do with a few more Maoris to add some starch to the forwards .

At the moment Messam, Dagg , Smith and Cruden are the only Maoris in our team. Tanerau Latimer would be my next pick after an awesome season with the Chiefs

So South Africa have dropped Cheetahs prop Trevor Nyakane for supposed repeated breaches of team protocol as coach Heyneke Meyer announced a 26-man touring squad to Argentina for Saturday's Rugby Championship test in Mendoza.

Nyakane made his test debut against Italy in June but has been axed from the touring party that left for South America on Sunday for unspecified ill-discipline, the South African Rugby Union confirmed in a statement.

He will be replaced by uncapped Griquas front-rower Lourens Adriaanse, one of four new faces from the Springbok matchday squad that thumped Argentina 73-13 in their Rugby Championship opener at Soccer City on Saturday.

Also included are scrumhalf Piet van Zyl, who replaces Fourie du Preez, the veteran Japan-based number nine not being available for the away legs of the competition for South Africa.

Loose forward Marcell Coetzee has replaced injured hooker Chilliboy Ralepelle, while Jano Vermaak has been added as a third scrumhalf option to compete with Ruan Pienaar and Van Zyl

Brycy Your heading really is misleading. Nyakane was given the red light because he did not comply with team protocole and discipline - it had nothing to do with his race at all. If he made a mess about off-field incidents - he would get a chance to correct those and he will be back in the squad sooner rather than later. Rallepele was released to go and take up his foreign contract - especially since there really is no need for a third hooker while on tour. He had virtually no playing chance - since we still have the two best hookers in the world.

FFS Mike, when are you going to stop talking bullshitting around every corner. You are talking kak about Chilli this time around. He was not released to take up his foreign contract, least of all because their was no need for a third hooker. He injured his back during a gym session on Saturday morning and was not included in the touring squad.

barlow and perenara are maoris too, and im pretty sure that coles has got some maori blood in him too, more pakeha in him though, just like viktor matfiled whose got maori blood in him too.

can anyone tell me what nyakane did wrong???

silly to release chiliboy, the pumas test in mendoza is where bizzy was injured last year, so when ur about to embark on the away part of the journey, u should really keep those players a little closer to home.

Ceradyne Frankly did not know about the injury - but he will be off to France soon enough and that may even happen earlier than expected.

Tell that to Mike. He is the one who tends to be reckless with the truth/facts.

I heard the Boks come back home after the Argies test so if that is the case 2 hookers is enough barring unlikley injuries during practise.

And all the time I thought it was supposed to be a matter of selecting the best man for the job.
