Saffex, King Corn and Clever Mike. When were three critics ever so vociferous, while being so totally wrong?

Not wrong at all, spot on..............until Meyer beats NZ, we are always going to be in that second spot. What do they say about coming second.......its about as pleasurable as kissing your own sister!!
Meyer needs to ditch Morne first and foremost and Fourie as a close second......that would be the start to challenging the Kiwi's.

Actually JJ played against the Kiwis, not Fury. Hard to argue Fury was at fault dontcha think?

I'm talking about the future not the past. With the current incumbents ie Morne and Fourie in the side we have no chance.........Morne is foremost as I said.

Our forwards can dominate the AB's.......but there is no way we will challenge if we have Morne at 10 and Fourie at 13. Its hard enough retaining one old fart in Jean at 12, we cant take on the Kiwi's with a backline full of old men.

He does not need to ditch me - since in essence I agree with the fact that he did show some progress this year - but there is a lot of work to be done to get SA to the top of the rankings and to beat the All Blacks - in other words it is work in progress.

However, where I differ from Meyer is about his selections in a few cases - I would say about 6 of his present squad of 32 players.   With those players in the squad we are never going to reach the ideal situation.   Those players were inadequate in 2010 - 2011 and they still are the same.   If players did not perform up to standard in those years - what will make them do so at present?

"Meyer needs to ditch Morne first and foremost and Fourie as a close second......that would be the start to challenging the Kiwi's."

FdP in combination with Morne have a 80% win ratio against the All Blacks. The ONLY match they lost was the one at Ellispark, where the Boks were chasing four tries...

On the other hand Ruan Pienaar has a 0% win ratio against the All Blacks, no matter who the flyhalf

Ruan must go. Morne is not an attacking threat and with Pienaar never attacking the half backs pose no attacking threat. Also there is no great pace at loosie. Put in Rienach or Du preez and a player like deon fourie and everything changes. Here is hoping Lambie/Goosen have a great 2014.
Meyer needs to tweak things a little bit when playing on hard fast fields.
Yes snapster and Mike have got it wrong this test seasom and one hopes they will take in the lessons and do better next season. I f in doubt ask yourself what does    say!

Beeno

I am the right person to ask about performances of players - always being objective and based on actual performances - not media hype.  I give credit where credit is due and point out deficiencies where it is blatant in players.

Listen to me and we will top the RC log and outplay he AB's and all other teams comprehensively - not struggling to win against minnows and lose against the AB's.

Comprehende?

 Beeno "nou praat jy"!!!!

Ruan was never a class player in any case.

We definitely need Reinach, Deon Fourie there. Maybe even a De Allende as well.

All I can say is well done Heyneke we are moving in the right direction!!!

Mike you are talking shit and you know it.

You only parrot the bullshit the media feeds you. And it is mainly the the from non-rugby sources like Keo et al.

Beeno ... hey whipping boy ... did you know that munching on too many cabbage leaves is bad for you.

Apart from stinking up the place, it's also known to rot the brain.

First signs of brain rot is when the cabbage leaf muncher starts babbling on about "Deon Fourie" as a potential Bok.

It's truly an amazing phenomenon.
