Light up dear members - the great changes are there fro all to see and admire.   Here is the team of Meyer - the Magnificient.

15    Kirchner

14    Pietersen

13    De Villiers

12    Francois Steyn

11    Habana

10    Morne Steyn

  9    Hougaard

  8    Spies

  7    Alberts

  6    Kolisi

  5    Kruger

  4    Etzebeth

  3    Du Plessis

  2    Du Plessis

  1   Beast

Bench:

  16   Strauss

  17   Cilliers

  18    Du Toit

  19    Vermeulen

  20    Vermaak

  21    De Jongh

  22    Lambie

We can all be assured there is no franchise bias in those selections - of the 22 only 7 have Bulls contracts and it further is shown up by the fact that there are 8 Sharks in that squad.   He also had to find spaces for the poor  team in Super 15 - the Stormers and managed to do just that by getting them 6 places.

The Cheetahs are massively over-represented by having 1 player on the bench.

The above shows real retrogression since 2012 - since half of the players form in Super 15 was atrocious and three of the players actually never played a single game in Super 15 due to injuries.,   Back to the future we go.

If this is the final team the I have no words. Nei masta, not a single one. All he needs now is a DeLorean and he can go...Back in to the future!

JP Pietersen is injured?  Frans Steyn is overweight? Cilliers is better than Coenie? Du Plessis has not played a game in a year is he really better than Strauss?  EISH!

Mike, you're getting all worked up and upset about a team that is 2 months away from being selected! A lot will change in that time. My point, get upset once the team is selected and Meyer has gotten it wrong, but to get all worked up now over what you think he will do is...I dunno, insane!!

Maybe the bugger is driving me insane.  LOL.   But really I have learned something about Meyer's line of thinking on selections and I am prepared to bet that the team would basically as indicated - that is if there are in fact any changes in evidence.  Two further months will make no difference to Meyer's line of thinking - I am sure of that.

Look, you are probably right, but he is at least making some moves in the right direction, identifying the real problem areas for the Boks (Breakdown & Backline), so maybe sanity will prevail....there is always hope!
