Meyer the strategist at work - no wonder some oaks battle.

Cape Town - With an eye on the 2011 Rugby World Cup, Springbok coach Heyneke Meyer says he wants Patrick Lambie to be comfortable in two positions.

Lambie has been picked at fullback for South Africa's Test against Wales in Cardiff on Saturday, but Meyer said he will utilise the Sharks star at flyhalf as well during the year-end tour.

"For a World Cup tournament you need players who are at home in more than one position," Meyer told Die Burger'swebsite.

" I don't want to give too much away, but Pat is good under the high ball and brings something different on attack. He will also play flyhalf," continued Meyer.

After the Wales Test, the Boks also face Scotland (November 17, Edinburgh) and France (November 23, Paris).

Saturday's Test at the Millennium Stadium kicks off at 19:30 (SA time).
