We had to wait ages for Hanekom to recover from injury.
What has he had in game time for the Boks this year? One game, where he was the invisible man.

Seems to have dropped out of the pecking order, below the likes of 2nd and 3rd choice players.
Surely playing Wales and Scotland at home is the time to play him?

Not as if they are going to start him against the All Blacks.
Although, in general, it is often best to allow newer test players to play off the bench in the 2nd half.

He's come back from a huge injury. He says his hamstring still hurts when he sits for long periods. He didn't look completely comfortable against England but he wasn't invisible if you pay any attention to more than the obvious. No idea what Rassie's plan is with him.

Yeah he has not hit his straps yet much like Fassi but both are class acts and need time
