Can't speak for club or premiership rugby or whatever they call their provincial rugby in England. In test rugby I've yet to see him do much that could be considered positive. Boks destroyed him in the RWC final 2019, last year Borthwick had him replace Marcus Smith midway through England having the upper hand over the All Blacks and that changed the game. Ford had Telea bunched against the touchline, made the worst tackle attempt imaginable, try All Blacks. Then in the 79th minute he had an easier penalty kick than the one young Davids slotted for the Sharks in the shootout over the weekend for the win for England, missed it. What he could possibly add to the Lions only Cheika will know.
