Here again one expects Japan to win.

Let's hope no uncalled for Reds ruin the game.

I guess Samoa will take this one, but I am crossing my fingers for the Reisvreters, Japan.

Samoan loses his head and puts in very late tackle. Gets yellow. Very stupid

Great match. Japs have very good skills and very organized and fit.

Samoa discipline probably greatest problem.

Japs apparently have a 860 kg pack but they play as a unit very well.

Hats off to coaching staff. Very well led by Lappies of course.

Remember the foul-ups leading in the WC match against Japan to a disgarceful loss

To set the blame on the side that played in 2015 on the coach is wrong. The coach might well had underestimated the determination of a talented Japanese underdog coached by a intelligent coach like Eddie Jones that could exploit  his knowledge the dogmatic style of SA rugby format...showing disrespect (that is SA) for what they regarded as an easy opponent (Japan).

Be careful Ireland and certainly Scotland...Japan could jump you...Brave Blossoms could indeed live up to their name...Japanese rugby is far better than most rugby lemmings think...a lot better.

Especially in Japan...if you study the fixtures Ireland could be tired and Scotland could well be a scalp that this well drilled side coupled with pride can overcome. World cups are different ball games and rugby is a strange game when determinations are high.

Seb don't get carried away. The Scots are a lot better than Samoa.

No guarantees Blossoms will win that match.

Further the Blossoms would crack against the  Bok forwards - just too much power and physicality.

Just discovered the Jap star wing went to my school Graeme College before he left for Japan. Was named most outstanding player of the U13a rugby side that year. Apparently a great high jumper as well

Beeno

I am afraid that the Scots may not make it to the next round.  They will have to beat the Japanese by more than 7 points and get  a bonus point  win to boot.

I think the Japs has an 80% chance of beating them based on stats.   They have a full 8 day rest before their next game - Scotland will not have that luxury,

Also please note Brycy the Blossoms had quite a few foreigners like their captain Lappies.

You need to choose the right foreigners.
