Another Olympian effort from Mighty Chiefs...like champion marathon runner Chiefs look to go the distance mockingbirds.... like supreme athletes Chiefs use superior fitness and athletic ablilty to outclass Hurricane tribe ..Chiefs going off like Olympic fireworks...Set Waikato stadium ablaze with searing runs, blistering attacks and all consuming defence.. Mighty Chiefs sizzling mockingbirds...like unquenchable fire Chiefs too much flare for neighbouring tribe...Like champion high jumpers Chiefs keep raising the bar....Like champion archers Chiefs keep hitting bullseye...Chiefs already outrun Cheetahs, outswim Sharks...SuperXV like rugby Olympics and Mighty Chiefs going for gold...

@sitting bull,
u a chiefs fan?

i can only see two teams beating the chiefs at the moment, crusaders and stormers, but only at newlands and both games would be tight

its a pity rubbish format means chiefs and stormers can only play against each other in finals, if their paths should cross that way.

Sitting Bull - enjoy it while it last - but your Chiefs may reach the semis of the competition - I say may but I may add that they did get into the final once and lost by a record margin - so this time around same thing will happen.

Chiefs are looking really good at the moment and they certainly look like deserved title contenders. They have been lucky in terms of injuries and that is where teams are tested in this tournament. Just looking at the Crusaders and the Reds beginning to hit their straps which coincides with the return from injury of some of their frontline players proves how injuries are a blight on this competition.

So I would say to you Sitting Bull, that if your Chiefs can stay injury-free, they have a good chance. It will be left to how they handle the business end of the competition, eg. player management, etc. cos believe you me the fatigue factor will set in due to the length of this years competition and player management will become paramount.

@clevermike,

thats a silly comment. differnt coaches, diffent players, differnt team. they have beaten the crusaders, they have  beaten the sharks in durban and kept them tryless while scoring two of their own in the most humid conditions. 4th best attack and 2nd best defense.

the crusdaers are the are best equipped to beat the chiefs, but the chiefs have the best squad in the competition.

i hope teams continue to underestimate them like u do though, cos that plays right into the chiefs hands.
