A superficial reading of the week end matches would suggest the bulle should win by 40 points. Is this going to happen.
One thing that has become apparent is that the Cheetahs and Lions are desparate sides. Witness the Cheetahs pushing the crusaders so close. The Lions threw everything they had into the game to their great credit. The Reds on the other hand had a few too many injuries and folded. The bulle played against a side that were not really putting in the effort. So the score was great but not really earned against a competing team.
Hence we had a situation where the Stomers, not playing well, won away against a desperate side and the bulle won at home at alltutude against a side not really trying.
So how does the 40 points now stack up? I anticiapte a keen contest in the forwards. I hope Elstadt is on the bench. Where did they get that reserve hooker from!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Deon Fourie you are badly needed as is Schalk.
Nevertheless it should be a very nice test of strength for both sides.
I think it will be reasonably close. The Stormers though have to up their game or perish. I predict Kolisi fans will see how much Burger is missed. Against a side like the bulle Burger is THE MAN with his huge physicality and work rate. Joe better have his kicking boots on as well.
I do hope Alistair doesn't sub simply for the sake of subbing - he calls almost cost us the match last Saturday.
