Western Province made it five wins from five in the Currie Cup as they demolished the EP Kings 49-14 at Newlands in Cape Town on Friday.
Seven tries were scored by a rampant WP, with man-of-the-match Siya Kolisi again impressing alongside Nizaam Carr in the hosts back-row. (One up for ou snapster who will now want Kolis to captain the Boks!)
Captain Juan de Jongh opened the scoring in the tenth minute before Demetri Catrakilis added the first of his five successful conversions on the day.
It took just six minutes for Western Province to double their account when Kolisi was at the back of a line-out drive that led to Catrakilis' extras.
The hosts were cruising with a quarter of the game gone as De Jongh's second of the night had the Kings thinking how they would recover.
But recover they did when flanker Paul Schoeman crashed over to make it 21-7 at the turnaround.
Livewire Cheslin Kolbe restored normal service in the 47th minute when he raced over from 25 metres out and after Kobus van Wyk's opportunistic try before the hour, it was now 35-7.
This came after Rynhardt Elstadt was binned but he made amends while EP King David Bulbring was having a spell of his own, the Western Province lock scoring to make it 42-7.
Kolisi would claim a brace before the end but in the final play of the game a lovely break from replacement Kings prop CJ van der Linde led to outside centre Tim Whitehead having the final say for the visitors, who remain winless in 2014 while Western Province march on.
