Groom scores!! Its 10 nil.

Great effort earlier by the very underated number 6 - Deon Fourie!!  Note that speed and chip ahead. Is brussouw remotely in his class I have to ask? However the oaks will take ages to realise his is not a retreaded hooker but a class number 6 and no questions about it.

So far so good.

WP jou lekker ding!!!!!! The famous blue and white hoops lead 17-6 with Deon Fourie delivering a master class. How can those idiots managing WP let this guy go!

Elstadt has done a good number 7 assasins job at 7. Aplon looks totally disinterested and one wonders if he is coming to the end of his career.

Question is can we close it out in second half.

Du Plessis skins JJ! 42 - 6 and bulle getting a whipping!

Du Plessis looks like a natural born center.

WP going back to their roots and running the ball.

Well done bulle you did put over two penalties. Bwahahahahaha

That was comprehensive.  42-6.

Things looking good for next years Super 15. But get Fourie back. Man of the match in my book.

JJ outplayed by Du Plessis at center.

Oh give it a break, JJ spent all of about 10min at centre.

JP du Plessis as I have always said is a class act and if Coetzee had, had any sense he would have played him in the S15. He is far better than pretender de Jongh

Saffex and Beeno

See my comments on player performances I gave elsewhere.   In essence it was difficult to evaluate Engelbrecht - he did nothing of note because he got no quality balls.   There is a question mark about his defence though - and I still rate him as a poor Springbok squad selection - he did nothing to convince me otherwise.

I have serious reservations about the Springbok squad selection criteria.   How the hell can players like Kruger, De Jong and Jantjies be in the squad?

Jantjes is NOT in the squad he was sent home and hence your seeing him play Currie Cup!

Juandre is no international lock I agree although snapster is a fan of Kruger.

De Jongh does not look in the class of Du Plessis. Hope Meyer was watcing. Guys like this and of course Jordaan are knocking on the door.

Agree JJ may have problems currently re his defence. But he is young and can still sort that out.

Beeno

Where is your logic in this?  You said the players were in the squad - but was sent back.  Obviously they were - but how come they were included in the Spriingbok squad in the first place by Meyer?   Jantjies, Werner Kruger and Engelbrecht were at times oin the bench - and Engelbrecht and Kruger were in fact used as a substitutes - so they were in fact favoured by Meyer - and the question remais WHY?
