you were wondering whether there were any other pitches in Oz similar to the WACA. Although I don't know anything about the pitch in Canberra where the 3rd ODI will be played tomorrow, the solid answer is no. The WACA is quite unique, I don't know of another similar pitch anywhere in the world. From one to another Ozzie pitches are uniquely different and unlike at the WACA the winning of the toss can easily determine the outcome of a game. Did you notice how the wicket at the WACA kept it's consistency from the first ball bowled to the last?....it's quite extraordinary.

ps I hope De Lange gets a run tomorrow.

I can remember from the 1990's when Donald, Vinnige Fanie and MacMillan were around that the Aussies refused to use the WACA as a test venue involding SA.   They also had rare ODI's against SA at that venue.
It was only since about 2007 that the WACA beame a test venue for SA teams again.  I think they must thank their lucky stars that the SA fielding and catching was so poor during the 1st ODI this series - otherwise they would have lost that one as well.
We will see tomorrow what the pitch is like - but I guess the Aussies are going to have problems especialy if they sort out the Protea selections.   According to the International Weather forecast it will b cloudy with no rain - so the game is on.   Any news on that score from your side.

It never rains in Canberra LOL....pretty much hot and humid in that neck of the woods.

I'm just as curious about the pitch as everyone else.
