Great ball striker when there is no pressure....perennial flop when the pressure is on. Fortunately Morris and Parnell stopped the rot. And Amla came back with authority today. ....40 runs in 38 balls. De Kock flopped after a series of decent scores. The game is in the balance...go Proteas.

After months of no rugby, the Super Rugby season finally begins much to the relief of all the regulars . . . except for the one lifeless old tosser who is still banging on about cricket and posting his naive and ignorant views on a rather meaningless series here in the rugby section.

I'm pretty sure if anyone wants to get updates on the cricket they're quite capable of getting them from Cricinfo. At least they'll be getting the views of people who know something about the game rather than a self-important old blowhard who never held a cricket bat or ball in his life.

Rugby season has started. Discussion of Other Sports belongs in the section marked . . . ummm . . . "Other Sports"!

Tells you how far we have slumped when a game of rugby Monopoly is more important to sports fans than a cricket match between two of the top nations. Urinal in his new role as Monopoly leader is puffed up with pride and trying to extend his influence. ....... But he remains a small man addicted to alcohol and full of spite. .......... Yes, an epic win for NZ which makes a very well balanced series even more interesting.

But maybe this explains it.....another Urinal early mouth disaster. I'd say Guptill 'swamped' the Proteas yesterday. ........... Rooinek Status: Rugby Legend Posts: 4807 RE: I'm putting my... February 27, 2017, 19:14:21 Looks to me like the loud-mouthed fool who predicted the Black Caps would "swamp" the Proteas is trying very hard to change the subject so that people will hopefully not notice all the egg dribbling down his ugly face. ............. ......the egg flows but only for Urinal.

Well Moz, he is hopelessly out of his depth with his knowledge and insight into the game having been exposed on several fronts, all he has is spite. He hangs on my every word waiting for a mistake but even when there's none he'll twist things to create one.
All very childish and spiteful but predictable. It's funny how he questions everyone else's knowledge when clearly he has none. "Win toss, bat first"..yeah right, how's that going?
Martin Guptil slaying of the Protea attack exposed my fear that the team lacked an experienced genuine fast bowler, wicket taker. Rabada is not that man, not yet, and Parnell will never be even though he's made some improvement at a higher level in recent games. To expect the Allrounder Morris to fulfill the role is a joke.
The Proteas have some major issues to address, Miller's form is the least thereof, the lack of an experienced strike bowler leading into the ICC Trophy is another. I'm afraid to say the departure of Kyle Abbott is hurting the team and the absence of the wily Vernon Philander is another and with the availability of Dale Steyn in serious doubt one has to wonder about our chances of beating the top teams.

Of course the iron clad rule was in effect....win the toss/bat first/win the match.....or maybe not. Another Urinal cricketing law. LMAOFY!
