Waaaaaaaaahahahaha I’m quaking in my boots, ‘your vs you’re’. That’s the big reveal? Dave I’m not an English literature graduate, but I am a voracious reader and I can assure you I know the difference. I did get a first in English at school and I can recite from memory much of Ode to the West Wind, L’Allegro or Il Penseroso. I do enjoy the language
Tell you what, let’s just draw a line under all this. You actually are a valuable member of the Board in that you follow the junior players more closely than the rest of us. But we all have opinions, which makes for discussion, which is why we are all here. Telling people to ‘shut up’ or worse defeats the purpose.
How about you drop the animosity and the insults and just enjoy the Board for what it is, a crazy collection of ideas, history and passion. We are all rugby guys and we share a common heritage no matter where we are in the world.
You can’t be enjoying all this animus….you against the world. Have some fun …..read L’Allegro, John Milton got it right long before rugby was invented:
Haste thee nymph, and bring with thee
Jest and youthful Jollity,
Quips and cranks, and wanton wiles,
Nods, and becks, and wreathed smiles,
Such as hang on Hebe's cheek,
And love to live in dimple sleek;
Sport that wrinkled Care derides,
And Laughter holding both his sides.
Try some laughter holding both your sides…..oops, perhaps that’s a bit of a stretch, no pun intended.
