More Springboks playing abroad than in SA

while saying theyre springboks is technically correct, its about about as loose a comment as u can make.

the real question is how many of those players would be picked for the Boks in a crucial test tomorrow???

off the top of my head i could name 20+ former All Black players playing overseas, and i know that number would increase if it was looked into.

weakened rand plays a part with the exodus, but if SARU wants to stop the tidal wave of top players going overseas, then they should only select Bok players based in SA.
of course theyre not going to though, especially if SA's best from around the world can only get them easting the successful scraps from the table of the NZ rugby empire.

personally i dont think the Bok selectors need to go overseas, they have class to burn everywhere within SA.

granted some players are out for the season due to injury, but the question has to be asked, WTF are SARU selecting players from overseas??? o_O
i just made two teams from great players or players in great form, and not one is playing overseas now or in the future, at least not as far as i know.

IMO theres only two players playing abroad who would add value to the Boks and thats habana and strander, and even the loss of both those players are minimal and can be replaced by a number of classy players.

 Sasuke you're underestimating just how weak the rand is. Someone who travels back and for from the UK and SA, I have a clearer picture than most what SA'n rugby players face. 
Habana is irreplaceable, we don't have any other backline player that matches him. Le Roux maybe, but why would we give up such a player in Habana. Kind of like Lomu when he played in Wales, if his health problems had been overcome then I really don't see the All Blacks not picking him.
