Morne and Lambie on the attack at flyhalf in the S15

like i said it all comes down to the centres and the back three. how often do the boks create options or deception? practically never. look at any pass from morne or any other 10, there is stuff all going on around your 10s so it becomes easy, tackle hthe 10 who tries to run it in numbers, tackle your one-off runners in numbers and its fucking over man. you saffers just dont want to learn how to use the ball. jake said you guys like to follow instructions, i say bullshit!

morne has had more success ball in hand than any other guy since 2009 thats just a fact, he skinned the aussies twice a few times, one big blindeside attack last year when he sidestepped beale, jp was too slow in support though. he just does what he is supposed to do, your entire backplay just insnt right. ll blacks focus on centres and use their blind wing more on attack, they use their forwards over 58% more to back up the backs and create layers of attack. morne is not the reason the boks cant match that. its a system thing. the skills are there but you have to create ways of implementing it, the cheetahs back coach has got it spot on. they play more like an aussie side, not down to the individuals but howq the units are used. they have had something like 4-6 different 10s the past few years but they still get that ball in hand game going. is the penny dropping. by the way im not slatting lambie either he was setup to fail with the most rediculous fucking expectations ever. he is class but he plays for a shyte union for backs and has too much to live up to.
 

A lot of truth there....the Aussies have a double wing, with lots of deception. The odd thing is back in 1960 Mike Antelme cut in from the blindside wing and the Boks beat NZ with two fine backline tries....the first time I know of this tactic being used.  But 53 years later we hardly ever deploy it.
