While Meyer has shown he will pick overseas players, his preference would certainly be to choose someone playing domestically, obviously Lambie. A smart move by Morne at his age to go overseas and cash in. He is still young enough that if Lambie or Goosen falter before the World Cup and he remains on form he could step right back in for consideration.

Has been really impressive last two games - I think last season would have been a whole different kettle of fish for the Boks if he had current form. Would have given the All Blacks at least a run for the money.

Morne conceded the Bok 10 jersey to Goosen then Lambie last year - there is no need for Meyer to return to Morne - heaven help us we have seen enough backward steps from Meyer already

We would have won the 4 nations had Morne been on this form. The only game we would have lost was the home match against the abs.

Even that drawn test at home against England would have been won. Meyers record would have been phenomenal had Morne played at his normal level.

Its time now for Morne to cash in - who can blame him. By next year Lambie and Goosen should be fully on stream.
