Morne Steyn earns the accolades of Springbok Coach

He is an experienced player, and I am not going to force him to play too much away from his usual game.

-- It is exactly as I said.Jantjies is now being blamed because Coetzee does not understand how to play an expansive game. Our coaches like Morne because he is predictable so the simple coaches can relate to him.

But Jantjies is error-prone. Look at the mess he made in the SR final, playing under Ackerman's coaching. His dropping of a kick-in inside his own 22 against the All Blacks, for example, is not the coach's fault, and those are the type of unforced errors Jantjies is famous for. 

 Jantjies has had a decent shot at making the Bok 10 jersey his own. 
He's wasted every opportunity given him with poo r performances in every test match. 
He should now be discarded to the rubbish dump and never brought back into the mix. 
Morne had a spell in his life (6-7 years back) where he looked to be it. That sadly evaporated soon after the British & Irish Lions tour to SA. All we have left of that talent is the predictable, one dimensional hasbeen we see today.  
Lambie should be the Bok 10. He is a talent second to few in this country and should be given as much of the ball as possible.
Playing him at 15 is a waste. 
So sad to see him wasted at test level.

 Jantjies is a poor man's version of Carlos Spencer or Quade Cooper without their presence, has a poor kicking game and is a poor decision maker. He had every opportunity to make the position his own, as kak as Morne is, he still provides more confidence than Jantjies.

The problem with jantjies and loons is that they play like New Zealand did 10 years ago only to buckle when Jake put the rush defence on them. They have moved on and no longer stand as deep. Jantjies completely implode when he has the ball under pressure in his 22 and has no awareness of what's around him. In the ST final he hot chased by a prop but actually had more than enough time to either side step or actually kick. The same thing happened when he dropped the ball. He must have thought that he was going to get pumped into the ground. Jantjies is simply a player that does not like contact

 If Coetzee praise a player I take the complete opposite view.   Morne always was a very questionable flyhalf and the praise is premature.    if Coetzee s not the absolute dud I believe he is - he would sometime in future found out that Steyn is more of a liability than an asset. 

Actually Jean de Villiers and many other commentators have made the point that the Boks were not going to win last week without Morne. Lambie is better at 15 than 10, Coetzee has that right....check out Wales 2014 and Japan 2015 when Lambie steered the ship.

One thing is certain is that we need a flyhalf that can kick for territory on the pitch. If we lose the territorial kicking battle, our forwards end up in front of the ball instead of behind it. 
If we have 15 players behind the ruck- our defence is usually solid.
