Morne did his ordinary - he three times in Super 15 try to donate a win or dreaw to the opposing teams - he was successful today.   Morne is not the scapegoat - hre was the real BSter.
Anybody who fails to find touch with a penalty kick - is the real loser of games.   If this was the first time it happens fine - but Morne is a repeat offender and has given away tries when missing to find touch with a penalty kick in the past - two critical examples of the same heappned at Eden Park last year.     
Let me put it clearly.   Morne is -
SH!t - SH!!T -  SH!T - SH!t - SH!!T -  SH!T
I did not see whether Morne was one of the tacklers missing his tackle in thats equence of play - but he certainly missed more than enough tackles today:-
Steyn0/0188/9/0000018/70/010/0  The moment the tream was announced with Morne at flyhalf and  Slapgat Matfied at lock - we lost the game.
Meyer should buy a one-way ticket for Morne to Paris.  Stade Francais needs a benchwarmer and the Stade Framncais Reject will bugger up their games  as he did the game today - we certainly do not need him in the Springboks team.

Your morne dribble is embarrasing you make me ashamed to be south african.

 Morne was a liability just as he always has been. 6 tackles missed and all that aimless kicking 

 you talk kak saf-fex his kicking with one exception gave us the territorial dominance we needed only for the ref to pinge us every god damn time we got into the red zone. if you deny that then you are a pathetic excuse for a fan, or a south african.

 Morne is the saddest excuse for a 10 I have seen since koen and van straaten.

I have never heard such a lot of dribble BS than I have heard from you in this case.

 JdV could have made it wrong (and have a very average game) but the biggest mistake and the principal one came from M. Steyn.
He had to kick assuring that the kick went out, never to try to get the most field possible and let Habana to come back to the field from the sin bin. That was a huge mistake and the origin of all w hat happened later, JdV's mistake and the try.
If someone is to blame here should be M. Steyn

Really ab ass its Morne's fault. Pray tell us then why was Habana off the field in the first place?Also why was Duane penalsied for an excellent tackle on Slipper. Also why if habana was carded wasn't the wobbly guy who high tackled Jean.
Ou maaaikie you cant balme a rteam for loosing when it was done to a rotten ref.You can legitmately say thateven if they deserved to win, which they did, this is not our best team.
I am not even blaming wee victor for the loss. I do say however Lood is better by some way.

The players must know how to deal with a dodgy referee.   I agree - some of his decisions were weird and i is unlikely that he will get another test soon.
The problem here was that we had a good enough lead - but Morne made a balls up - one that frquently happen lately by not finding touch wit that penalty kick.  There can be noe xcuse for that one.
Morne's kicking game has been a disaster area for a while now - probably why Stade  Francais used him from the bench.  Just look at some tests over the past year:-
*   Exactly the same problem as he did this morning at the Eden Park test  - failed to find touch with two penalties and the  AB's scored two tries;
*   Charge down kick leading to a near try by the Pumas
*   When SA just gained the lead at Salta - Morne kicked a ball directly into touch - putting his team under serious pressure.
*   Aimless kicks galore.
I think it is time not to blame individual players for a loss - but to objectively re-assess the controibutions made by the various players and see whether they still be long in the team.
Such an assessment will no doubt indicate that Morne, Matfield and Jannie is way past their best and it is time for changes. 
By the way - what I always said and feared about Matfield  happened today -  he is a weak tackler and too many players just bruish him out of the way.   He did the minimum today and basically did not call line out balls to go to him - so his famous line out play was never an issue.   He ducked out of that one - maybe he felt that he could be exposed if he did call balls to come to him.

 The thing is and the day light difference between us and Nzl'nd is the fact that they GET BADD CALLS as well.....but they score tries. They score tries.That leaves bent refs,like fish out of water.We don't score tries enough.Sorry but we don't.When we can score three or four tries a game then we can think maybe about beating Nzl'nd. And I have to agree Jean is a weak link at his age and....and we lack a specialist thirteen. But I have to agree Morné was dreadful in his kicking game.The rest we have replacements for.Lood for Matfield,Nyakane for Jannie.
