Dave, put it this way.....we always had some fun needling each other. I'm all for a bit of argie bargie.....but what you said about denny was unattractive. He's a decent guy, who put himself in harms way back in the 70s for principle. This Board owes him a big debt for kick starting the membership. He doesn't deserve to be used to make some small debating point.
The first step on the road to recovery is to set that right. Then turn the clock back to where you used to be ....a more open and friendly poster. Not theguy who was on here to garner applause from another site.

Moz what you fail to mention is the fact that Denny initiated the crap. We were all cool on here and then one day out of the blue Denny decided to srtike. Despite what you think, its not in my nature to initiate crap but am more than happy to dish it out once started.

Without going to in-depth on the subject, but it has been proven time and again that profanity and slang severely inhibit one's ability to communicate to a sufficient level. In fact, those that swear and make use of slang forms are more often than not unable to fully express themselves, nor do they have the capacity to understand their emotions. So Dave, if you are going to adhere to his request, then at the very least do it for your own well being.

rubbish, swearing can be an effective way of one conveying a paticular point. if someone is pissing u off or says something u find offensive and u tell them to fu*k off, then u are clearly expressing urself and the emotions of anger that u are feeling.
each to their own, but blogs are better when common courtesy is applied, especially when debating the rugger.
Anger in communication is a breakdown in ability to communicate. It's not something one should strive for. What does it hope to achieve? Offend another person, possibly hurt their feelings? And what comes with that? Counter-aggression and a complete meltdown. Mission not achieved, and certainly anything you say thereafter is disregarded anyway. So it's a case of cutting your nose to spite your face. Rather say nothing at all.

some people are just plain assholes and love nothing more then to stir and will troll by any means necessaray. it all comes down to the intent of the person cursing and more often then not, they dont care what may come of it, especially in moments of anger.
My response has been sanctioned, which is pretty pathetic, but in a nutshell, I wont stop swearing as I swear daily as do my friends, colleagues and the world in general. Grow up, get with it and live with it
