Moz's xxx player ratings.
15. Willie le Roux – 5/10
His average form has continued. A few good clearance kicks, but up and under were not very contestable. When he loses form, he starts to make aimless kicks. Koble could get a run at fullback next week, to get Aphwi or/and Nkosi on the field
14. Kolbe – 7
Good on attack and defence. Like having a second fullback. He was also good at scrumhalf. He is an allround player, and good to have a backline player that can create and finish.
13. Lukhanyo Am – 5
Good on defence. Not many opportunities on attack
12. Damian de Allende – 6.5
Very solid with aggressive front on tackles
11. Makazole Mapimpi – 6
Got better as the game went on
10 Handré Pollard – 9
Perhaps the best flyhalf in world cup. 2 tries, solid of the tee, good touch finders to setup lineout drives
9. Francois de Klerk – 5.5
His boxes kicks were mostly poor.
8. Duane Vermeulen – 7.5
Was all over the pitch. Winning turnovers, taking kickoffs, strong tackles, good carries
7. Pieter-Steph du Toit – 6.5
Lots of tackles. Showing he is mobile to get involved in attacking movements.
6. Kwagga Smith – 5
Not involved enough. When he was involved, it was not really a chance to use his skills
5. Franco Mostert – 7
Lots of ball carries, good defence.
4 Eben Etzebeth – 7
Was abrasive and physical
3. Trevor Nyakane – 7
Best scrumming performance of the tournament.
2. Mbongeni Mbonambi – 7
Lineouts were better than with Marx.
1. Tendai Mtawarira 7
Seems like a better starting option than Kitshoff. Contributed to a totally dominant scrum, and did his part on defence.
Replacements:
16. Malcolm Marx (45th minute) – 6.
Good turnover and put pressure on ruck.
17. Steven Kitshoff (45th minute) – 6
Possibly better of the bench.
18 Frans Malherbe (49th minute) – 4
Not very good,
19. Rudolph Snyman, (65 minutes) -N/A
20. Francois Louw, (56th minute) – 6
Boks became even more dominant at the breakdown when he got on the pitch
21. Herschel Jantjies 7. – Excellent break. Good at finding gaps. Another solid performance
22 Frans Steyn (65th minutes) – 7
Everything he touched turned to gold
23 Jesse Kriel (58th minute) – 3
Butchered a possible try, but not offloading to his outside for Kolbe.

Why are you always misleading members? Take the following:-
Mostert : Lots of ball carries, good defence.
Du Toit : Lots of tackles. Showing he is mobile to get involved in attacking movements.
So lets look at the tackle stats o9f the to players and see what they represent:-
Mostert - Tackles made 16 - tackles missed 5
Du Toit - Tackles made 13 - tackles missed 4
Defense if both were not good enough - - too many missed tackles, However, the quality of tackles made is important:-
Mostert - average to poor quality
Du Toit - tackling players back - strong and effective
The other BS story is the Steyn euphoria. Se Allende carried the ball to within a meter of the tryline with three players taking him down. Ball comes back and led to the try scored by Pollard, Everything Steyn touched turned to gold - problem his defense only entailed 2 touches.
De Allende was particularly active in ball protection at breakdowns - Steyn never in sight,
Lastly another twisted posting ignoring pertinent facts
