Mozart and his age stories

The AB's last year was a very experienced - but more elderly team.  They were very good and won the WC - but I sincerely believe that the present younger AB-side is much more on the ball than there the retired players were.   They really upped their game to  a new dimention.   I do not think the rest of the teams are really worse than they were last year - the AB's just up the norm they set.   That again shows that Mozart's  mania with older players is a farce.   

 Er Tokkie the ABs had many , many more caps than the Boks. The more experienced team won.....case closed Mong.

I also think that the current NZ side is a better all round team than last years team. They are up with the ball at all breakdowns and their support of players who are carrying the ball is way ahead of all the other international teams.
Cannot wait to see the British Lions/AB test. 
Caps count for zero in my estimation, just look back at the last world cup game between SA and Japan,,,,,plus all that experience that old man Victoria Matfield added up to s...
SA have had more capped players since 1994 than any other top rugby side and talk about experience.
Matfield over 117 test caps and should have been cut at 80 caps.Smit over 100 test caps and was way past his best after 2007.Habana over 100 test caps and way past his best but does qualify because of quota's.de Villiers over 100 test caps and a passenger for the last few years as captain.
Not only did they blemish their legacies but it was at the Springboks cost more importantly.
Experience and caps are no substitute for pure class.
Sure these players were great in their day but they all overstayed their best by date.


Finally with respect to experience just look at a certain forum member to see that some folks just never get it even if they lived to be 100.

Fartur you clearly think losing is the object of the exercise. I would leave it to AB posters to rank this AB team and their WC team. But we have lost to Ireland and Argentina already this  year and have a 3 wins/4 losses  record. And while we lost to the ABs by 2 points at the WC....we lost by 28 points today. Spot the difference twit.

 Mozart - we lost against Ireland and Argentina with smaller margins than we did over the last two years and that id s fact as well.    The difference is that the AB;s beat both the Australians by much bigger margins than they did last year - so what can we deduct from that fact?   One thing only - and that is that the present AB squad is a few notches above their squad of last year.   Is that too difficult for you to understand?
