Mozart - do you think Jean de Villiers does not know center play?

The question arises from the following comments made by Jean about De Allende:-

Talking about De Allende, former Bok captain Jean de Villiers – who is one of the greatest inside centres to ever play for South Africa – heaped praise on the Bok star.

“In the last couple of years, he has just been phenomenal in the way he has played for Munster and the value for the Springboks has just been amazing,” the former Bok skipper said, as quoted by SARugbymag.co.za. “He was probably among the top-three players for South Africa at the World Cup. His consistency even after that has just been immense.

“His distributing skills as a 12 really is fantastic. His defensive skills, he is like a loose forward in midfield, being able to tackle; he hardly misses a tackle and he is so good on the ground competing as well. That creates slow ball for the opposition and makes defence through phases easier.

“I have only got respect for Damian for what he has achieved and how he has improved his game. At this stage, there is no reason why he should be slowing down. He was phenomenal over the weekend again, great performance. In terms of what he offers the Springboks, he is critical for the success of the Boks and his partnership with Lukhanyo Am has been phenomenal as well.”

So who is right on the De Allende issue - Jean de Villiers or you?

Well if Jean thinks Dud Allende is a great distributor he clearly is talking nonsense. Even Dud’s fans wouldn’t call him a great distributor.. As for defence, Dud lost the Pom game with the worst defensive blunder of the year.

My guess is this is a case of Jean trying to look generous by praising his vastly inferior successor.

DA needs to work on his distribution and play making skills as our 12....and Jean describing him as a extra loose forward is most probably a subtle hint that maybe he should focus on being a 12....this is also exactly the fact why he fits in so well under R&N,s game plan...slow down the game, don't run or do any kind of structured attack, " mak vas" this is a stampkar or Kick party.. ...do more with the possession you get DA, after all you are our 12 and you should be playing accordingly

No I’m not lying….the winning try…..Jantjies took his man, Dud the next man in the defensive line up moronically ambled  inside for no reason, leaving a Highway for Marchant….test lost.

You are know for writing imaginary instances when you try and discredit players.   I looked at the incident and clearly saw what happened in the case of that try -  what you said happened was utter BS as per normal.   To accuse Dave of lying is typical when you in fact are writing tripe on site.

Anybody who can’t see that Dud Allende’s incredibly stupid defensive mistake cost the Boks the Pom tests, knows nothing about rugby. I’m not surprised to find you in that camp Moron.

So De Villiers is a moron too and you are correct in assessment.   Remember the WC game where  you totally ignore the De Allende try against Wales which ultimately was the key to the victory of the  Springboks in the semi-final - it just did not happen according to you.   And then there was the lie about a try-scoring opportunity created by Le Roux and destroyed by De Allende.   Your whole description of that farce were based on something totally dreamed up by you - there was no try-scoring opportunity at all  - so you created one in your imagination.    

One can only regard that as  idiocy supreme - but as per normal anybody expressing opinions opposed to you are morons - and that includes Jean de Villiers and Pollard.    What a total idiot you are when it comes to any sport - whether it is rugby, cricket or tennis.
