This guy is absolute crap when trying to bring up past posts about players and team performances and are not ashamed by his own BS.
When Meyer in 2015 refused to select a single player from the Lions in the WC squad and members raised the issue - he put up aa sterling defense of the Meyer selections and disregarded performance as a criterium, for selection. For him the onl\y norm hinges on agree and reputation.
When the Japanese fiasco occurred in the WC - the BSter blamed only Kriel for the loss and not the lack of performance by the elderly players such as Bismarck, Burger (the stand-in flyhalf who spilled balls constantly), the out of his depth Matfield and the out-of-form De Villiers for the loss.
However, his gloating last year when the Hurricanes beast the Lions last year in the final was total and how right he was about Lions players not being selected in the WC.
His constant demeaning of Lions players suddenly changed in April this year when he made a 180 degree change and suddenly started to support the team. However, his criticism of certain players remained. I would have been ashamed if I made such blatant mistakes in assessing players like Combrinck (too slow to be a wing), Vorster and Kriel as he did.
Why is that the case? Mozart klnopwing zip about rugby use three norms in his contributions -
* he never makes a forecast and the gloat about how right he was afterwards - he is too big a coward to do that;
* his deficient understanding of the game and consequent usage of only stats as his basis for assessment - but then he abused the stats by selective use and often concentrating on defense and kicking as the only norms that count; and
* his constant attack on past postings of members on player performances.
I have yet to see a positive posting by this guy before any match and his sudden admiration for some Lions players is a real joke. Time to realize that he cannot deal with rugby issues and that it is best to accept that lack of rugby knowledge of Mozart has reached the highest ever by any member on this site.

What the blue blazes is a 'criterium'? Ah yesss, it's a one day bicycle race on a closed course.

.....
The Boks ran the ball 76 times, made 143 metres beating 3 tackles
'The Lions ran the ball 103 times, made 675 metres beating 33 tackles.
.....for context
The Abs ran the ball 117 times, made 387 metres and beat 20 tackles.
We also lost a bunch of lineouts against NZ.....but 3 defenders beaten in 76 carries is the compelling stat here. It speaks to the number of process oriented ...phase runs we made.
Willie 10 runs...no defenders beaten
Habana 3 and 0
Du Preez 7 and 0
Strauss 4 and 0
Matfield 3 and 0
Louw 4 and 0
Vermeulen 8 and 0
Schalk 8 and 0
Lomp 3 and 0
How can all these great players not beat a tackle (Allende beat 2 and Pollard beat 1)....my guess is if beating a tackle wasn't really the objective, resetting the phase was, in the hopes of perhaps milking a penalty. This was very conservative stuff.
If the Lions have brought one thing back to our rugby it's the sense that you can run at NZ teams. And that their defences can be fractured by the right pass.....just like any other team.
The Hurricanes know all this and were able to spike the Lions attack at Ellis Park with their rush defence....an old Jake White tactic. It will be interesting to see if this old school tactic works again on Saturday.'

Stats selectively used again - po0int made as above. Lets look at the Japan game stats in full and see what was wrong in that case. Nothing new on this one. What about the gloating after the final loss of the Lions l ast year?

'RE: Wee Mostert @103 kg.- the Smallest lock to ever play for South Africa.

I was all for including Lions before the 2nd test, because I thought they would help the team aspect and because we have to clear the air early. Having seen the subs and the few Lions starters I think Combrink and Whiteley turned the game...Faf was solid throughout. Jantjies was average at best. To me Redlinghuis looked in trouble against Jack McGrath better against the sub.....and really there wasn't enough time for Mostert to do much unless you count him pushing behind Stephanie for the try.
It's hard to imagine Mostert is a better prospect than Snyman.'

That's demeaning.....what a fat lying slob you are Tokkie

What about the following BSter:-
"The Lions myth is over. Virtually every Lion has been discredited on the Intenational Stage.....they will finish mid pack. The Sharks will finish higher, but not make the playoffs."
That is just one of the many attacks by you on the team and individual team members since 2015.
You are absolutely shameless in quoting what other members wrote in the past and then attacking members personally. What a shameless hussy you are.
