Mozrt started this one off by referring to Jacques du Plessis as a DUMB MUSCLE and it being a rare original idea from him - I thought that a competition as to the Dumbest Muscle in SA Rugby would really be interesting.
I have two nominees for the competition t find the dumbest muscle in SA Rugby, namely -
* Flippie van der Merwe - the great lover of cards - he prefers yellow ones - but a red comes his way occassionally as well. He is a hard worker and may get a few penalties thrown in as well - a just reward for being dumb most of the time.
* Willem Alberts - also a lover of cards - but since he loafs most of the time - not really a substantial collector. He just love it to follow up when there has already a card being issued - 13 players on the field is better than 14. He is noted for getting the ball and forgetting there are 14 other players on the field as well - so he walks forward a meter or two and gets tackled - never passing a ball. The great inventor of the Alberts-Treeby tackle technique.
I am not going to nominate any NZ and OZ players to participate in this illustrious competition - I leave that to their fans on this site. Looks like Tameifuna is a potential candidate though.
SA supporters please make further nominations - it will be real fun to see who comes out on top in this wonderful competition.
