Well that's one way of looking at it. Another way is Habana, Jean, Jannie, Gurthro, Victor, and Schalk are all still in the mix. Bakkies retired of his own free will and Juan kinda did the same. And waiting in the wings are Morne, Pienaar, F du Preez, and Fury.

Of course they are going out slowly, they have been around for 10 years. But slowly is the operative word and the right appeoach. All these players will be gone in three years....but your problem is you wanted them out three years ago. Stupid.

I did not want them out years ago - but certainly did not think some of them should have been in the 2011 WC - they were way past their best by then already and they were the main reaosn why we even struggled in the round robin matches in that WC.   
It was stupid of Meyer to try and get them back for the present season and it is clear that they are not up to standard at present - another year and theyw ill still be worse next year in the WC :-
*   Habana and De Villiers were poor in all tests in 2014 - will they not be worse next year?  It is obvious that they are in serious decline at this stage already.   If you cannot see how their standard of play has declined this year - you must be stupid or blind.
*   Jannie was poor in scumming in at least theree of the 4 test matches this year - and extremely poor at that.  The others he was barely adequate in.   He would be worse next year - no doubt.
*   Victor is the main reason why our performances in tests this year was below the level it was last year.   He does not bring his part in the Tight 5 and loitered around in the abckline - yestyerday he caused the breakdoown of two backline moves as a result.   If he ws up froont - where he should have been - the sturttering forward players may have been better.   He really is playing on a basis of no merit w hatsoever - his line out prowess have been in serious decline since June 2014.   His tackling is weak and his ball carries in traffic nonexistent.   Penalties galore.
*   Can  you not reqalize that Morne is history - the mere idea to bring him back into consideration is impossible.   He was a bloody disaster in all he played in this year.  The AB commentators all said that they knew how to handlehim in tests and that destoryed our chances of ever beating the AB's and a lot of other teams as well.  Morne is a mtachloser for the Springboks and even where they won - they barely get t win because of him.  What a bloody idiot you are to even mention him.
*    Pienaar is flat and was barely average in most tetss he played in - he would even be worse next year.
*    Du Preez since his return to test rugby showed zero at all - he was invisible in teh RC tests last year and showed one case against Wales of some verve in teh EOYT last year - bugger-all in the two tests he played in this year. 
*    Fourie was useless in attacking play in the three tests he played in last year - he is  too slow to play in any position in the backline.  
You are too beloody moronic to realize that most of the above players should not be near the squad they are disastrous in their real performances.       

Morne is not history old chap, don't be so naive. So today we had 4 of the " exciting new backs"... Goosen, Step, Lambie and Reinach.....you have been punting. How did that work out for you?

 How about you apply you're own logic to you're own judgement of players rather than ignoring every poor performance by Morne and crew.

Let me ask you this, what was the best backline display since the RWC11?  

 The Aussie test in Pretoria in 2012.   The Argentina Test in Soweto in 2013.    The Scottish test in 2014. The All Black test in Ellis Park in 2014.     
The moment  Steyn was eliminated the test performances in backline play improved beyond recognition.
I am perfectly happy with the half back pair of Reinach and Lambie.  You talk so much tripe it is unbelievable.  Two starting tests for Reinach and two tries - which you preferred to ignore.  He is coming on nicely.
A number of backline moves yesterday was sabotaged by Matfield moonlighting in the backline - he is a serial offender in doing just that.
