Mozart's favourites - Fat Fransie and Morne Steyn

The Morne Steyn issue has been discussed in substantial detail - but lets look at Fat Fransie's achievements in the latest game for Montpellier - where he played at flyhalf:-

Looks very average - but for two major issues.   Of the 10 balls kicked - 4 were so aimless it resulted in turnovers in possession.   He carried the ball 7 times - making a meter gain of 9 meters.    That is totally ineffective.
However, ball possession losses of the scale shown by Fat Fransie is fatal and that is a major reason why he is not acceptable as a player in any SA team.   His record of 2014 in causing 32 possession losses in Super Rugby has been confirmed again by the game on Sunday.
Interesting enough Goosen played at 13 for Racing Metro yesterday.   He made 2 c lean line breaks and carried the ball 5 times for a meter gain of 57 meters - way above what is an average performance.  


       
 

 There's the difference between the two in receiving a medal.
The on'e all hype while the other actually produces the goods on the field.
 

No there's a big difference, Frans won the World Cup, Morne won the Lions series.

 Many years ago - not anymore.   Mozart - I know older people in their minds live in the   past.   I do not have the problem yet - but I am not so sure about you.
