Mozart is the one contributor with some serious prejudices against younger and less experienced players and favour more experienced players above everything else.
In many ways he is quite ingenious about it - in other ways he uses deception and unfound (often false statements) to get his idea somehow implanted about players and when challenged about false statements he goes into the diversionary strategy - insulting the member who dare to question him about the said statements.
He dislikes JJ Engelbrecht intensely and his hero is Juan de Jongh. As an example he came out with an outright lie that every time Engelbrecht tried to tackle De Jongh in a Super 15 game just before the play-offs - De Jongh dragged him five meters. Obviously impossible - and when challenged - he said it did happen once of the five times Engelbrecht attempted a tackle and not like he clearly spelled out earlier. The fact that De Jongh's own defensive stats in Super 15 was a horror story were totally ignored or better still - being made out to be the result of his extremely strong tackle technique. What hogwash!!!!
A typical example of hero-creation by Mozart is Juandre Kruger. He first came up with the idea that Kruger has not sufficient grunt - but that is off-set by his mobility and the fact that he helps the low-mobile loosies in the relevant regard. After the game last week a new name came into being - he is a "creating player".
Then he hates Du Toit with a vengeance. He first of all came with a statement that he was tossed sround like a rag - but when that did not wash - he came with a statement that he is hyper-active when he came off the bench in a game and then went on to describe him as being unable to last through a full game. Then after he played a number of games and had a sternum injury - he said that he is to weak to last through a season and is injury prone. To cover himself though - he did another low Mozart type of sleaze campaign - he changed the guys name and Pieter-Steph became Pieter-Stephanie. He would make the latter out as a joke - but you must realize he is a sneaky bugger - so that joke story will not wash.
There are a number of other players - where inventive performance descriptions are sued to promote players or outrights lies are used to discredit others - but that is the Mozart way and I think we recognize those deceptions for what they really are.
