Maybe I stand alone on this, but I really can't read another thread featuring Saffex and Mozart slinging COMPLETELY RUGBY UNRELATED crap at each other. We get it guys, seriously we do! You don't like each other! More importantly, nobody cares if one of you is a ball hair taller than the other, or who is fatter, older, smarter etc etc! Seriously, I am convinced that some new blogger that happened to log on here for the first time would leave straight away, convinced that he had been tricked by some viral link on a rugby site, onto a board where grown men compete viciously to see who has the biggest peepee!

With the exception of Jalapino, Boklogic, Denny, Beans and a couple of others who reply out of what can only be boredom, I think I speak for most of the bloggers when I say...we don't give a Rats Ass!!!

The reason why I do not participate anymore.  Clearly the admins of this site are as brain dead as are the posters who enjoy the clap-trap between two equally dumb posters.  WTF has some poster' height, weight, hairline or age got to do with rugby.  It is quite clear that they are immensely board with life and either have no friends or can find nothing constructive to keep themselves busy.

What a shame that two supposedly grown-ups fuck the message board up for many a serious poster.  Oh and then there is the other drooling halfwit who speaks about himself in the third person..what a twat.

taipan

I have been pleading to sop the crap - but it keeps on and on.   Evn when he topic starts off as rugby-related it gets hijacked and turned into crap.   Sorry to see you do not want to participaye on th site.   There are rugby lovers here that do try and make contributions towards healthy debate.

Yes I think its got boring and should cease.

Ou bedpan just loves this stuff and creates the same type of nonsense on his homeboard so his post is complete sanctimonius twaddle. We can be thankful he is scarce around here Mike be sure of that.

That simple solution appears too complicated for some. I mean seriously, it's not hard to figure out which strings are not rugby related. Take the Andy Murray vs Dumpy Dave string.....by far the most popular string on the Board, maybe ever.  How hard is it to work out this is not about rugby. But still chaps open it up and moan about it.

There are no space limits for rugby posts. No requirement to participate in non rugby strings. And believe me, nobody is frightened away by these strings.

This site is hopping....it was dead as a doornail in mid December. Super Supporter that Taipan/Bongo Bongo touts is as dead as a doornail. They seem to have about as much traffic as we had last year this time. This site was kick started by many of the posters you are complaining about Bluebok.

And with considerable experience of these sites, I'm convinced more traffic translates into  more vibrant rugby discussions. But there is only so much one can say about the pre season.....only so many greatest hooker of all time threads one can start. Most of these invented rugby threads sink like a stone.

I'm not trying to be snide about all this. But we will turn to rugby when it starts....in the meantime, it's no harm, no foul.

saSUE bedpan (Taipan 57 ) is not the sharpest pencil in the box as you have quickly realised.

I do agree that the threads have been clear what they are about and if you dont like it butt out has to be the rule.

That said try and keep the blows up. When things get too bitter they lose their allure.

The website is getting more and more activity. It is amazing how active the site has been over this very quiet time.

I don't believe it, Saff and Moz agreed about something....cold weather clothes people, its gonna snow! With a title like "Andy Murray vs Dumpy Dave" you are right, it is obvious where that is going and I have no problem with that at all, but I do have a problem with every single RUGBY RELATED thread being hi-jacked and becoming a mud slinging match, with the same mud! I'd even be happy if you guys could come up with something new to argue about, but every thread lands up with the same argument. I know you both get where I am coming from, so please don't argue with me just for the sake of it....even though you can. I have been part of the mud slinging in the past myself, and I actually enjoy the banter, but this whole weight, height, age thing is just unoriginal.

Yeah, your mother!!!!

Familiar things can take on a different aspect. This is one of my favourite quotes. I read it first in The Magus by John Fowles, but it's actually TS Eliot in "Little Gidding".

We shall not cease from exploration
And the end of all our exploring
Will be to arrive where we started
And know the place for the first time.

Moffie, stop lying and stop trying to justify your pathetically childish behaviour. When did the title of a thread stop you from banging on about your stupid obsession with Dave's height? There were a few threads last week which had titles about measuring centres and centre performance that you totally destroyed with your usual juvenile blabbering about Dave's height, Dave's weight, Dave's hair, Dave's clothes and all the normal drivel that you churn out endlessly.

You might also want to have word in the ear of your Alpha-Gimp. Go read what Dense had to say on a thread titled "Six Nations" and tell us how much his comments had to do with rugby . . . not that Dense ever talks about rugby . . . but either way, if you and your Servile Gimps stop polluting rugby-titled threads with your pathetic garbage, I think everyone will be grateful.

Stinging? Ummm . . . did you throw any blows yesterday, Moffie? Sorry, I didn't notice, I just remember you not knowing who Medusa was.

Now stop trying to change the subject in your usual cowardly style and answer the question . . when did the title of a thread stop you from squealing and squawking about your childish obsession?

Apparently Bedpan doesn't understand "I'm sure you have heard this before". So he comes on here and tries to pick a silly, little fight. I thought all was sweetness and light on SS, but from his behaviour in his first few posts, he is missing a little red meat. The only problem is, he forgets that he's the road kill.

Moz I would give ou bedpan a break if he could behave reasonably but he is the biggest twit I have met on a rugby website and any chances of him behaving like a normal human being are very slim. I know he gets on the nerves of posters on ss board and wonder how desparate they are that he is not given the boot.

I see he is quickly onto his favourite subject.

He always ended in tears and of course there is no ignore button here. Hahahahahahahaha

'Hawkeye', on 22 Dec 2011 - 12:21, said:

Sorry guys - one hell of a storm robbed me of the ADSL. So it' back to HSDPA.

Firstly, it is really sad that any poster leaves or has left or will leave; that is certainly not the intent. However that being said the board (the rugby forum) was heading for disaster. I received many requests during the few days that the long winded argument was raging on the rugby forum to do something to it. Well in fairness the requests to "handle" it far outweighed the other side.

I am sorry Moz decided to leave because he could not call the shots and make the rules to suit him. It was his choice as an adult and I am sure one he made with due consideration and taking the consequences into account. The same applies to a lesser extent to the decision Denny made to follow his idol.

There will be no poll as to who wants them back because that is irrelevant - you cannot decide for them if or when they want to come back. Both are welcome back to the board but like everyone else they will have to accept the rules.

Threads that are clearly not rugby related and are placed here with the intent to cause flaming or baiting (like Denny's lament) will be moved. I will leave a link to the new residence so it will not be difficult to follow.

What I cannot fathom is that none of the other forums or sub forums struggle with the same thing, why is it just the rugby guys who insist that they plonk liquorish all-sorts here on the Rugby forum?

At exactly 13h00 this thread to will be moved to the General section - I think it has served its purpose and Moz has now got the reactions he wanted.

One can never achieve anything if your intention is to hold the board hostage to a degree because you are unhappy with the way it runs.

I personally think it has absolutely nothing at all to do with the moving of posts, that is a feeble and imature excuse to want to leave a board.

I think his big ego took a massive klap, something he may not be used to. although he should be, given his accomplishments.

Denny.............. Moz............ I have no doubt at all that both of you will be reading this................ so

Nice. So that shows we left. It says we could come back if we obeyed the rules. But within minutes of me leaving I was cut off and couldn't even log onto the site, which I was trying to do to reply to messages. I never had any intention of ever returning.

The precise reason I left was because TC put up a long post attacking me, it was left up all day, but the moment I replied  in US time, the post was moved to the cellar. No amount of complaint was going to move the dictator, who was reacting to what he claimed was a Board consensus....but didn't have the courage to put to a vote.

So I just said Sayonara. After that Barlee approached me, only to then be bullied into not following up on the suggestions he solicited.

A low episode all round, but one which I only reflect on when turds like you try to damage this site. It must gall you all, after all the mockery, to see the thing now surpassing your own dead site. But hey, that's life.

"Andy Murray vs Dumpy Dave string.....by far the most popular string on the Board, maybe ever."

-

Moz,

It depends how you define popular.

If it is only 3 posters using childish insults on each other over and over, like " your fat, your old, your even fatter, your the fattest, I am short, you are short".  That is more like sending texts rather than a dialogue of any sophistication.
