I watched the game again and must say that I have not seen such a poor display by a flyhalf as Morne managed on Saturday.

If there is something shockingly bad Morne did not do - I yet have to find it.  The top one was when the Welsh players dribbled the ball forward.  The ball went straight through between Morne's legs and Willie fortunately stopped the attack.   That was just one issue - the rest included kicking a ball directly into touch, missing a kick at goal.  knocking on a ball and being hopeless in the case where Matfield supposedly saved a try - was just part of a litany of poor plays.

You say Serfointein has to go - but first in the queue should be the dismal Satde Francais bench warmer.

Morne does two things well. He controls the game and who would you rather have make that last conversion if Hendricks wasn't nobbled.  Serfontein is a commodity.

Morne controls the game well - there was no sign if that on Saturday - he biuggered things up well.  The sooner that guy is gone from the Springbok team - the better it would be fr the team.
He is not a commodity - he is a serious risk and he was that for years now.   He missd enough conversions at crucial times in games in any event.  Try and think back to Ellis Parl last year if you can.

Mikey

Stop acting like SafeSex.... "I like this term I recently came across", thanks Ceradyne

Morne is here to stay, stop bleating you senile old fool, and rather praise him

Imagine how hurt he must feel when he reads your posts

If any player ever reads the posts on this site - he will have heart failure.  Just imagine how bad most would feel - especially with the posts of some of the members here - when tey have to invent reasons to criticize players.
Morne had two poor games in a row for the Springboks - the second one definitely worse than the first one and I gave exact examples where he played badly.   He enver was an international flyhalf - his only asset ever have been his kicking at goal.   That is my opinion and the opinion of many others,.
So I have the right to criticize players - you have the right to differ from me.  That is why we have lots of different viewpoints on this site.
I have had serious fall outs with Saffex in the past and I try not to use curse words and disparaging remarks as to other members - but you will find peace does not last long on this site - so enjoy it.

Ok Mike

I just want you to be careful with your wording in case Morne reads this board.

He already has enough issues dealing with what SafeSex writes about him

Ceradyne
I will be civil and nice about it.  I wrote down all the info on the tackles.  Most tackled players went or at least fell forward - there was no strong tackles - no ball losses by the tackled player - no turnovers in possession.  In all cases the Welsh recovered the breakdown ball in the case of Matfield's tackles with relative ease.
Most of the tackles happened at the very end of the game - just before Biggar's last attempt at a drop kick (4 at least)  - so that was when the ball was kept among the forwards.  Although Matfield was standing behind mauls most of the time (he virtually never tried to recover breakdown balls or even try and help with it) he never once  made a tackle wider out.

And I believe you because you say so? You promised to do a comprehensive analysis with timestamps the lot. You agreed to it. You even asked whether I would agree if you were correct. You were also supposed to give us a run-down of the tackles by all of those who were better than him. Come on. Surely you can do better than just give us yet another fabrication.

....and so the peace last approx 5-10 minutes.

Nothing wrong with Alberts, Mike...he like Jannie,Bissie and Beast are tired and overplayed...that's all...I prefer to him to Schalk...Burgers like Matfield is past it.

This calls for truce...lol.
