I got to a ranking of 1652 but since then I've been on the slide....you're so right, it's hard to stay at that level. Still itching to win my 1st tournament though.....will keep you posted

Yes ... it's a great site ... and I'm delighted to be a part of it.
At times I play some brilliant chess ... and other times I play like a complete noob.
I'll clean a 1900 ranked player up and then lose to a 1300 ranked player.
Must say though ... I've learnt a lot and have changed some things to my game. It'll probably take awhile before I become comfortable with the changes.
I find the standard of chess on this site much more advanced than on RHP ... so thank you Denny.

I started a tournament last year July, Aug ... or there about ... and have only just moved into round 2.
Total madness. Having to wait for some uninterested bozo to make his move drives me totally insane.
My biggest challenge is to focus on all the matches I have. I'll put a strategy together for one of the guys I'm up against and when he finally makes his move 3 days later, I've forgotten what that strategy was.
