To get back to Du Plessis. I watched this guy in Sevens and he is exceptional - any guy scoring three tries against Fiji in a Sevens game is. You should also see him running away from the NZ sevens players,

Nel was in the training squad and Louw was not. I did not say anytime that Nel was a certainty for selection at all - I merely remarked on the training squad at the time.
