Firstly it was great to see friend and foe throw their weight behind the Boks in prematch posts, we rarely show unity so it's great to see that our passion for the Boks is as strong as ever. Most will wake up in the morning like me, totally gutted. Our hopes though will never diminish that much we know.
Secondly, to the Kiwi posters on here, well done, a deserved win, your guys were the better team. Enjoy it while it lasts we'll see your lot in the final.
Now for the blame game......
Faf is a liability, I've always had misgivings about his overuse and misdirected box kicks, once again he horribly exposed his shortcomings and has to be replaced by Herschelle Jantjies in the big games.
Our backline still have no idea of how to find the try line, the last time they did was back in 2007 when Eddie Jones was the Bok backline coach. And to the misguided, Stick is the Bok assistant coach not the backline coach, that honour belonged to the serial dropout, Swys.
Our players are not good under the highball, they were horribly exposed.
My overrated players are Willie Le Roux, Vermeulen and Louw. They have all seen better days.
Mostert, good against lightweight Japan, has to go.......don't care, don't want to know, he is a nonentity....Fullstop!
PSDT was good, tried his heart out, Pollard was ordinary but he'll get better, Marx has now become a serial under performer.
Rassie, the timing of his replacements is questionable and why he always replaces Etzebeth with another lightweight in Snyman is just dumb. Etzebeth should remain to play the full length of the game. Also dumb was his persistence with Faf when it was abundantly clear that his erratic boot was playing into All Black hands.
There is a lack of leadership in this Bok side, the pack lacks 80 minutes of energy and commitment....age has wearied some and the centre pairing of Am and De Allende is an excuse not to be recognized.
