Not bad pick Snapster. Don't know how Bismark is going but I rate Akkers very highly.Mostert at 7 is an interesting pick. He gets around the park pretty well and works hard for 80 minutes.

Bismark is in good form, but would be happy with Akkers on the bench.

Mostert is not big enough for a test lock so 7 would be perfect for him

Just like Ox Nche is not big enough for prop but is a great prospect - I'd move him to hooker

Kriel at 13 has already been exposed as a flop ... He's much better at 15. If pushed I'd much rather have Serfontein there. Without injuries I'd play Janse van Rensburg at 12 with Vorster at 13.

Frans Steyn is definite no go zone. He was awesome in the 07 WC but has done nothing lately to warrant his selection. We have much better options than this dim witted loon.

Jantjies and HouGat??? I can't imagine a worse halfback pair than these two. Both as individual players ... and a hundred times worse as a starting combination. Prefer Lionel Cronje and van Zyl or Shaun Venter at 9.

I like your front row. That has power written all over it. You bench cover sucks though. Would like to Dylan Smith given a shot as loosehead cover. Glad to see you never selected Beast.

Mostert at 7? Too risky at this level. I'd rather stick to specialists in the back row.

6. Cloete, 7. Kriel, 8. Whiteley (cpt) / Du Preez.

Prefer Marutllule to Bismarck.

Lood and Kolisi would never make my Bok squad.

Willie Leroux saved a few games the Boks could have lost last year.
He was a one-man band on attack, and perhaps the only Bok player that was able to create space for those around him.
As long as he is instructed to not make stupid chip kicks, then he is an asset.
I would like to see an expert like John Mitchell working with him.

CC - Kriel has never been exposed as flop at 13 and is completely wasted at 15.

Steyn is my flyhalf cover as Pollard, Lambie, Goosen, Bosch and du Preez are not available. Cronje is an option ahead of Frans, but only a short term one

If you don't see what Jantjies brings to the Lions you don't understand the game of rugby

Hougaard has been simply brilliant for Worcester and named prem player of the season for that very reason. Shaun Venter is utterly useless and v/Zyl blows hot and cold

Smith can even make the Lions side anymore......too small for prop

You cant play two opensides at test level so Cloete and Kriel as a combo are a no, no.......you need grunt at 7, hence Mostert

Murathulle has done stuff all, all season - exposed at Super level - too small cant even make the Bulls bench

He's an athlete, I'll give you that but his pass is bad and decision making sketchy, better on the wing.

Xavi you clearly know fuck all about rugby for his pass is as good as any 9 and the idea of playing him on the wing speaks volumes for someone who knows fuck all

The player who created space for that backline last year was Goosen - hence his two tries scored and two try assists he was credited for.
However I would still play Le Roux at full back and would have put Goosen on the bench - definitely not Fat Fransie.
If Jantjies bottled out - like happened in too many tests he played in in the past - they would have atleast have a decent replacement flyhalf.

Haaaaaaaahahahahahaaa!! Quite right Xavi!! I've seen him pass a ball from the base of a ruck to his 10 ... and it bounced twice before it reached him.

Needless to say I went into hysterics, it was so funny.

He also doesn't have a good pass off the left hand.

Throw in a poor kicking game and what you have is an awful scrummie. He does however have the potential to be a good basketball player. Any sport where the ball is supposed to bounce.

Test match material ... I THINK NOT!!!!!
