15 Combrinck 14 JP
13 Mapoe, 12 van Rensburg, 11 Bryan, 10 Pat, 9 Faf, 8 Whiteley, 7 Alberts,
6 Carr, 5 Steph du Toit, 4 Eben, 3 Koch, 2 Strauss (capt), 1 Kitshoff
I don't think it makes any difference, if we were able to put 17 on the pitch we would still end up a distant second place.

Koch will be under huge pressure from the Pom scrum. I doubt Jantjies will feature much, that requires a buy-in to his style that is a total commitment.

I'm not sure if you noticed but Janse van Rensburg had a cracker of a season at 12 ... not at 13. Why play him out of position? It just doesn't make sense picking him elsewhere.
I'm not sure if you noticed but De Allende hasn't been on form all season long ... why select him in the place of the best 12 in the country? He's not a 13 either and in view of that he should surely be omitted from the match 23 altogether.
I'm not sure if you noticed but Jantjies hasn't had a single good test match TO DATE ... why open the door to see him crack all over again? Hasn't his failings as a test 10 given us enough reason to avoid him at all cost?
Just those three foolish selection is enough to have us thrashed.

safI laughed at your choice at 10 until I read your last post.Made me think.Yes maybe Franco will make the difference we need.No doubting Elton's raw talent, but under Coetzee patterned play, hr stands little chance at succeeding.
