Sorry that team is pretty hopeless......Sadie was drilled by the Beast, Lomp has done nothing ....gone much of the season....and now he's at 5, Stephanie stinks up 7 again, Kleintjie Kriel who would have been useless in today's game at 6 ....madness.
And in the backs...Jantjies at scrummie and the painfully slow Stepfontein at 13. And Willemse at 15 leaving the whole back undefended as his natural instincts force him to get engaged.
I rate this team a D minus.

A Super XV team would beat that bunch of plodders.
This is a Roedolf Straulie team, that would change significantly after 1-2 tests.
For the most part, it is choosing non-established players in the blind hope that they would do better. New flavour of the month players that slip under the radar and have a few good games until the opposition get time to plan against their few strengths.
Serfontein has been tried at 13, he is far too slow.Janse Van Rensburg is to unfit to play test rugby. He has been a failure in the UK pub team club rugby.
Willemse is not a test standard fullback, at this stage he is not a test standard player full stop. Good in space against Minnows, but folds under pressure thus far.
Jantjies ahead of Faff.... A proven test player against a first season player that opposition teams have not had time to analyze.
The backrow has no fetchers, so they would be destroyed at the ruck on attack and defence

Stupid side leaving Etzebeth out and playing any 9 ahead of Faf is laughable as is playing Serfontein out of position at 13, he is not quick enough for 13.
Here is a proper side:
15. Willie 14. Nkosi 13. Kriel 12. Serfontein 11. Dyantyi 10. Pollard 9. Faf 1. Kitshoff 2. Marx 3. Louw 4. Etzebeth 5. PSDT 6. Kolisi 7. JL du Preez
8. Dan du Preez
16. Aker 17. Pierre Schoeman 18. Thomas 19. RG 20. Jaco Kriel 21. Reinach 22. Jantjies 23. de Allende

Saffex's side is by far the best on this thread.
Only changes I would make are Damian Willemse for showpony Willie and Rohan Janse van Rensburg ahead of Jan Serfontein . . . but I readily admit I don't watch much NH rugby and Serfontein might be in better form . . . but I rate Rohan very highly . . . other than his hands which let him down sometimes.
Given Jesse Kriel's injury Lukhanyo Am is the logical replacement . . . and that would probably satisfy the politicians. If not, stick Gqoboka and/or Nyakane on the bench.

Am and Mapimpi proved themselves at the World Cup, Mbonambi too.
Jaco Kriel has broken down, he no longer figures. This team is a shambles.

"Am and Mapimpi proved themselves at the World Cup, Mbonambi too. "
Agreed, but Mbonambi has proven himself long before the RWC.
Mapimpi was always good, but IMO couldn't reprise that form for the Boks...until this season...Am had potential but only realized it during the RWC...good thing Rassie stuck to his guns.
A team must get the chance to settle...this one barely has become a team. I really hope we can build on this success a bit. Not world beaters yet, but the makings of a team methinks.
GO BOKKE!
