Hi guys

We're a fairly tight rugga community so i feel confortable asking you all this...

Please can I ask you all to pray for my little boy.

Just over 2 months ago I announced on here that my wife and I were proud to announce the arrival of a future Springbok great.

Well, earlier today he fell out of his car seat while his mom was strapping him in. He hit the side of his head, just above his right ear in a parking lot.

After rushing him to the hospital and having a CT scan they found a crack in his skull.

It kinda puts life into perspective hey.

We all sit arguing and jeering each other online and it gets quite heated...

But when something like this happens, I'd like to think that we'd all be able to unite as one.

Im just asking for a prayer or 2.

Thanks

Flash

Flashdakota,  I understand your pain- my oldest boy suffered the same sort of injury when he was a toddler. It was a close thing but he went on to become the wonderful young man he is today- I'm sure you'll have the same happy outcome. As you say- it puts life into perspective: nothing more important than your loved ones.

My thoughts are with you- all the best to you and your family.

Chances are he'll be fine, these young humans are tough. But I'd push the doctors pretty hard. What should you expect in the next few days. What would they do if it was their child. The tendency is to give these doctors some space. Be polite but be demanding. My very best wishes.

Will do Flash. Keep a tight control of vain imaginings. God bless your family and your boy with healing. Indeed these things give a perspective and a reminder.

Nice to see you posting here again Bobbok.

 Hey mike

Thanks mate.

You must have missed my update a while back.

Little man is healing like a champ.

Crack has healed well and he is as chirpy as PDV after a Bok win.

But we just need to keep monitoring him.

Thanks for all they prayers. No doubt it helped him get well!!

Sorry to hear about what happened to the poor little fella, but it sounds like he is on the mend. I'm sure it'll all turn out fine and it'll just be a story you can tell folks around a braai, while watching the Boks!
