The 22 I would select would be:

15. Lambie

14. Mvovo

13. JP

12. Frans

11. Habana

10. Jantjies

9. Hougaard

1. Beast

2. Bismark

3. Jannie

4. Flip

5. Etzebeth

6. Brussouw

7. Elstadt

8. Spies

16. du Preez

17. Morne

18. JJ Engelbrecht

19. Coenie

20. Chiliboy

21. J.Kruger

22. Coetzee

If Taute had been fit, he would have been my 13, moving JP to wing replacing Habana. If Goosen had been fit he would have started at 10, with Morne dropping out the match 22. If Bekker had been fit he would have started at 5, with Etzebeth moving to 4 and Flip to the bench ahead of Kruger. I'd be tempted to have Daniel on the bench ahead of Kruger as Elstadt is a lock. That way I could use Daniel in the last 20 to run England off their feet after Elstadt has battered them into submission

Not too bad but jantjes at 10 is not on.

Sapster would you mind not disrupring the gentle rythms of a peaceful Saturday afternoon with another selection.

Soon we will have Mike, Card, and Moz and the others all up in arms with Beeno left to sort out the mess once more!

Hahahahhahahahaha

Well there is no way I would select useless Morne to start. I was tempted to have Grant ahead of Morne on the bench but I opted for Morne's experience in the end.

I love Jantjies attacking spirit, he would ignite our backs

Heavenly Peace Disturbed.  I was watching the arrival of Her Majesty at the Epsom Derby and now this - please wait till 10 tonight - then peace will be further disturbed.

Meyer will not select my side, he is going to take the conservative approach sadly - we will see Morne, Jean and du Preez in that starting side. What I love about her majesty is that she has given me two days off - bless her!!

Meyer will select the side that commits you to your prediction that the Poms will win....Sapp.

Insofar as your team is concerned.....Mvovo, Jantjies, JP at centre, Flip Flop, Elstadt and Spies are invitations to disaster.

This Elstadt thing reminds me so much of our failed experiment with Rossouw at loosie....and other behemoths who flopped at flank in tests....like Deysel. The move last week where the Sharks scrummie rounded Elstadt from a scrum underlines the reason.

Yep we could easily lose to the Poms - for Meyer will not be selecting my youthful side

Your take on our players is complete rubbish. Elstadt is far harder than Rossouw or Deysel, love the way he knocks the crap out of the opposition. The fact that he gets beaten by a 9 is hardly an issue, he is 118kg's after all, that happens.

Mvovo has been outstanding this year, we need some real pace on the wing, he is the man. JP at centre would be a far better bet than old man Jean who has done nothing all year. Flip as Ludeke says, is one of the best locks in the world. Spies has nothing more to prove at test level, he proved it 5 years ago or more

Keep in mind that Bismarck has a very poor turnover rate in contact. As a carrier - the one strength I recognised - he has been very much an extreme liability! In terms of battling on the ground? Nothing at all. Repeatedly he is getting dumped. In terms of defence? His lateral defence is being heavily exposed. The Sharks are the leaders in the competition for missed tackles, 298 - Cheetahs second with 273 and Rebels 3rd with 261,  and a lot of that is to do with their ponderous pack which has size but little speed and mobility. Bismarck gets skinned most of the time, particularly when he over runs on defence, by the time he stops play is a good 20m behind him. Then there is his penalty count which still ranks quite high and his poor lineout throwing. He is no force in the scrum either. All in all, his supporters do not have a leg to stand on in defending him.
