15  Warrick Gelant, 14  Ruan Combrinck, 13  Jesse Kriel. 12  Damian de Allende, 11  Makezole Mapimpi. 10  Handre Pollard, 9  Ivan van Zyl. 8  Jean-Luc du Preez, 7  Pieter-Steph du Toit. 6  Kwagga Smith, 5  Franco Mostert, 4  Lood de Jager, 3  Wilco Louw, 2  Malcolm Marx, 1  Stephan Kitshoff

There was no candidate standing out as an 8 and since both Du Preez and Du Toit was selected as 7's I decided to use Du Preez at 8 and Du Toit at 7 - both had very good games.    The same applies to the no 5 position where I would have Mostert. on the advie of plum

So in other words, ShitForBrains ... Jean-Luc was slotted in at 8 ... because ... he was just so damn impressive ...AT 7 ... and that was reason enough for his selection, right? He didn't play at 8 and yet he out performed all the 8th men who actually did play there.

WOW!!! ... He must be something special.

Why didn't you slot Wiese in at 7? Don't let his injury or a possible by stop you, Tokkie. You could always tell us how no one else put in a good enough performance ... !!

I though you said that you assess players based on their actual performance?

I don't know about you, Tokkie ... but from where I'm sitting it looks as though your prejudice got the better of you ... again. That was all it needed to decided the fate of the other 8th men.

You wanted to PSDT in ... and if he took up the 7 jersey then what would you do with Du Preez?

I see your two favourite tighthead props ... "Hamburger" and "Tank" ... didn't make it this week? How come? Wilco is having a terrible season ... right? Isn't that what you said?

Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahahahahahahahahaaa!!

Totally clueless.

Your utter ignorance cannot be matched by anyone, Tokks.

False info does not help your case.  I said clearly why I picked both Du Preez and DFu Toit - can you not read dimwit?

I do not have favourite props and assess players on performance only.   One player who missed out was  Dreyer - he is as useless a wscrummager as you can find anywhere.

Why don't you post your team of the week if mine iss o bad?

I see Mostert still isn't good enough Mike.

How many share passes did Jessie Kriel chuck yesterday?

If Jantjies was responsible for just one of those we'd see a full post about it.

Not a bad team overall but hard to give it much credence when Mostert doesn't start.

How Am doesn't get a spot is also a bit mysterious.

Also, why are you not including foreign players in your side?

plum

On the day Mostert playing at 7 was outplayed by both Du Toit and Du Preez.   I should have picked Mostert at 5 - moving De Jager to 4.    And have no problem in making that change.

Obviously you never saw Tank du Toit gassing Stephanie du Toit through the outside gap. Obviously the Tank comes from a faster branch of the du Toit family.....hahaha!
