Taking on his starting side my Bok side would beat his 15. Gelant 14. Nkosi 13. Kriel 12. Serfontein 11. Duhan vd Merwe 10. Willemse 9. Reinach 1. Kitshoff 2. Marx 3. Wilco 4. Lood 5. RG Snyman 6. Jaco Kriel 7. JL du Preez 8. Marcel Coetzee

Gelant can't kick. Nkosi can't read play. Kriel is a cul-de-sac. Willemse? No, just no. Reinach has no skills, cannot pass. Lood de Treetrunk is perfect, if we were in the 1940s. Coetzee is never going to work, a proven entity, for failure. 

I like RG. Duhan is a very interesting prospect. He looks perfect for Bok rugby, but he is white. Wings are reserved for non-whites, an easy place to fill in some quota numbers - even if the players are merit selection.

Of Rassie’s starting side - Willie, de Allende, Pollard, Faf, PSDT and Etzebeth would feature in mine. Possibly Kwagga as well
