Seb: for the post that screwed up the formatting of the topic, click on Edit and edit your post. You must have copy pasted something that  screwed up the formatting.

Well that's the problem...no edit function appears...the pasting veers off to the extreme right and at the bottom is a bottomless pit.

Some women phoned me who hardly could speak sensible English...Indian accent claiming to be from a service company (microsoft windows) in Johannesburg. Told me there's a problem with my computer and wanted to help...I said no way...who the hell are you and how do you know...I give no imformation over the phone and no professional company does that...asked her for address and contact details...she put the phone down...a scam artist...no doubt there's a connection on this site...there's somebody whose a real bloody sicko...a computer cockroach...a real lowlife who has nothing better to do than gippo forum members.

Seb: if you are logged into Sarugby.com and for your posts the "Edit post" doesn't appear then you can't fix the problem with the post.
Anyway, it's no big deal. I don't think it is a problem with your computer though, I think it is just when you did your copy paste it messed up the margins.

You might be right but the mystery of the phone call is still unexplainable...no bonafide service provider would do that...only a real fool would fall for that shit.

And I'm not being paranoid...so many very disturbed people in this world today.

Seb, it is definitely a scam. Microsoft would not phone you and ask to remotely access your computer. I had the same phone call a few times. I phoned  Microsoft the first time  that I got it and they told me that it is a scam, and that was more than two years ago. They also had something on Watchdog, IIRC, not too long ago where they phoned  an elderly woman and did the same. I cannot remember all the details, but they accessed her laptop and  managed to get hold of her internet banking details and took a hell of a  lot of money out of her account.
