15 Israel Folau

14 Cornall Hendriks (even though he fell away a bit at the end)

13 Tevita Kuridrani

12 Malakai Fekitoa (yes, I know he only played 2 games)

11 Julian Savea

10 Handre Pollard

9 Aaron Smith (no stand out, A Smith was the best of a mediocre bunch)

8 Duane Vermeulen

7 Michael Hooper (yes, ahead of McCaw!)

6 Jerome Kaino / Juan Leguizamon (too close to call )

5 Sam Whitelock / Victor Matfield (too close to call)

4 Brodie Retallick

3 Ramiro Herrera

2 Agustin Creevy

1 James Slipper (maybe not the best scrummager but by far the best in general play)

With respect some differences: -
14   Ben Smith  (Hendricks serious defensive problems)6     Marcel Coetzee   (Kaino was a serious let down - especially in the last test)
The rest looks more or less correct.

Ou Maaik, Marcel Coetzee was competing for the openside flanker position which I gave to Michael Hooper. Remember, only in SA and France do the opensiders wear the #6 jersey, everyone else has the opensider in the #7 jersey. If you don't like my choice of Kaino or Leguizamon then pick a better blindside flanker.

I'll forgive Cornall a few high or missed tackles because he gave us so much on attack. having said that, I wouldn't argue too strongly against Ben Smith because he was consistently good throughout the tournament and probably slipped more tackles than anyone.

Shezza is correct -  of the 6 matches played -  Coetzee was only openside flank for slightly more than 2 matches.  I would therefore think that he should be assessed as a blindside flank in this case - that was my thinking when i suggested him as blindsider.

Good comments here...I don't take sides in debates, if okes I don't really gel with say sense I say so... Rooinek good side,Mikes comments are good too but Marcel Coetzee can slot in my side to both the left and the right...don't think this matters, 6 or 7 he has to be in,certainly after Duane Vermeulan at 8 one of the best loosies in the world. I also like what I see in Hendriks at 14.
