Dave

I was not really impressed by Esterhuizen - I think De Allende did better for the Stormers than he did for the Sharks eg De Allende was instrumental in causing to breakdown ball tunovers that led to converted penalties for the Stormers  .   I also think that Schreuder had a very good game for the Sharks and would prefer him  to Papier.

For he rest I basically agree with your assessment.

I agree with a lot of this. I'm surprised. I'm not really sold on Robert, but he wasn't bad. Lood has had two solid games. André was unquestionably better than Damian. Fassi had some good moments, but a little raw. Looks to be an exciting prospect, we'll see how he goes. He is in a great backline, so that should help him. Mapimpi is a very smart player. We need more brains in the Bok setup.

No players really stood out other than Kwagga. Also the notion that Gelant is slow is laughable given how easily he outpaced some of the Argie backs when covering kick and chasers Lood always plays well, has great hands for a big man Mike - de Allende dropped too many balls to make my side, he had an off day

Same old sleight of hand....Kwagga played 7 and showed why Stephanie isn't a 7. He was the 7 of the week. Etzebeth's was the dominating performance at lock....match saving tackle on Groom, stolen lineout....he changed the result of the game.

No Moz Kwagga might have played with a 7 on his back but he played like an open side. You don’t see him bashing it up like PSDT or Vermeulen did. Nor to you see them effecting as many turnovers. Kwagga is not a 7 but he is a great 6 who punches way above his weight. Happy to have Etzebeth on board, no doubt he will start this week. Don’t rate Chris v Zyl at all.
