Akker had a good game but Marx scored 2 tries and won countless turnovers so I'd give him the hooker spot this week.
Can't argue with most of the others.

Dave

Sorry I disagree totally with you.  here - for one Du Toit played at 7?    Why pick him at 5.  Not necessary because Schickerling played at 5 and he had a good game.   I also think Marx had a much better game at 2 ahead of  Akker,

Estrhuizen and Am was a joke as a center pair,  And Jantjies was his normal useless  self as  per normal.

Yeah Rooi close call between Aker and Marx, I gave it to Aker as he carried the ball more. Mike stop speaking your usual crap. PSDT played most of the second half at 5 Esterhuizen was by far the best 12 and Am was the best 13 on the day Jantjies was far better than Pollard and du Plessis and marginally better than du Preez I’m not interested in your pathetic prejudicial takes. I’m not interested in some twits comments who will never acknowledge the merits of a player. So regardless of how well Jantjies or Esterhuizen ever play you will never select them because of your childish prejudices. My team of the weak has nothing to do with my personal preferences - I am mature enough to look past that

Unfortunately I did not see the full Sharks game.   I saw Esterhuizen handling the ball twice  near the tryline, the one ball came back  the second one was a turnover,

Because of that I looked at the stats and was not impressed either,    Niothing indicated that either Esterhuizen or Am had a good game/  That is why I did not wrote about an SA team of the week.  The games were more characterized by poor performances by a number of players in the same position  as was the case in the past few weeks.

So you are stupid enough to base your calls having not even watched the games - that is beyond pathetic

No Saffex

I watched all previous games,   And as stated I watched the first half of the Sharks game and saw that Am looked like a lost sheep and Esterhuizen made a few carries with no impact whatsoever on the game.   Fact is he lost ball possession when the Sharks could have scored.

As to the Lions game I watched the full game and I am afraid I saw nothing special about Jantjies.   I remember your slection of him last week when he made mistakes galore and a knock on a few meters out - resulting in a Reels try - after he through a pass to nobody earlier in the game leading to another try was all I needed to see to say you were dead wrong last week.   Fact is this week he was replaced after fouling up and his benching caused the Lions backline to perform better than they did with him on the field.

I now you cannot see anything wrong with the Jantjies performances - but I do because I am objective.

The Lions have made the last 3 Super Rugby finals, and if Jantjies was useless that would not have happened. He was one of their key players over the last 3 seasons.

Mike is so fucking stupid that he thinks because Jantjies threw a flat pass that got intercepted somehow he is useless. He ignores the fact that intercepts are part of the game and he ignores the fact that Jantjies set up two tries in that same game. So clever Mike are you saying that one of Pollard, du Plessis or du Preez were better than Jantjies this weekend huh?

Strangely he has no turnovers conceded against his name in the stats, and you clearly missed his carry straight over a defender to cross the advantage line in order to set up Du Preez's try.

There was a turnover made in the case of the game as mentioned - it does not necessarily mean he gave away a turnover - it could also be  a penalty - which he did give away.
