The AB’s certainly needed that win more than we did and it showed We are a bunch of idiots for not starting our best side each game. What’s the point of leaking 15 and then having to play catch up with your better players Throwing Dweba in the deep end was plain stupid, calls like that end careers. The lad has plenty of potential but needs to be played off the bench. What’s the point of Nyakane at loosehead one week then Ox the next? When last did Vermeulen have an imposing game - the WC - if they are not going to discard him then he needs to do the honourable and retire. He is a passenger these days Kriel is useless on the wing, we saw that in previous games. Playing in Japan has done his game no favours. That missed tackle leading to the opening try was pathetic. Far too many tackles were missed noteably by de Allende and PSDT - not good enough Am showed some brilliance and Willemse is a real star. Very disappointing first half and end to the game - we fought back well only to mess it up at the end. A good few tries were disallowed so who knows what could have happened I could not believe Etzebeth was held up over the line - come on Eben you are a brute those should be easy for you I’m sick of not seeing Rassie present - he needs to get more hands on like the start - our results keep flattering only to deceive Stop fucking around with the side and stick to a settled side which includes starting Kitshoff and Marx. If it’s about bloody black numbers then start Willemse at 12 and Gelant at 15 with Moodie, Mapimpi on the wings and Am at 13, with Kolisi at 6 and Hendrikse at 9

Dave

This was  disaster brought  on through defective selections:-

*    Kriel on the wing was a huge mistake;

*    To use Willie on the wing was a bigger mistake since he does not have the pace - nor the defensive ability needed

*     Vermeulen - did he actually play?

*     Mostert as a replacement - he was a total wreck  and the last two tries with the AB's attacking up front was a typical disaster that could have been avoided.

*     I I have reservations about Kwagga as well,   He is to small to compete against the bigger guys,

I must disagree with you  on the Gelant issue.   I would not change the center pairing to accommodate Gelant.     He has had  his moments on lower level games - but is not a potential test star.    I would elave the cneter paiing - they were not the result of the loss.   The result could be taken back to -

*   poor defense on the Kiel - Le Roux wing part;

*    the non-contribution of Vermeulen, Mostert and to a lesser extent Smith when brougt on.

Would like to see what the Aussie squad looks like.    By the way the  World Rugby ban on Rassie expires at the end of this month as far as I understand the situation.    Erasmus inspire the players tremendously and that makes a huge difference to the team when he in fact is around.

The craziness of opponents to Erasmus is evident and has been for years now.    What can they offer to replace him?   Guess they would support either Meyer or Coetzee - whom they never criticized  in the past.   Crazy - but true.     .

The AB’s were ok but the Bok side is a better side and should have won that one from the start instead of playing these pathetic political games in 2022

The Boks forward pack is a disaster fitness wise. Props going down inside the first 20, obvious delaying tactics crawling to line-outs and then hanging back having a team meeting before forming the line out!

Thank God Pearce was well awake to their stalling tactics and was right up them from the start to get on with it.

In my humble opinion ... the Goats have a talent at 13 ... however ... he's kept out of the match by his brainless inside man.

He's strong on his feet and distributes well. He has sufficient pace to be a dangerous outside centre.

What he needs is an inside man that can bring this talent out. Push him to his full potential.

De Lindy is not that man. He's as thick as a brick and only knows one way.

Bring a thinking, creative man in at 12. Someone who doesn't hog the ball. Someone who can put Am into space.

Do that and I think you will see a superstar rise such as the Goats haven't seen for many a moon.

A game changer. A match winner.

Thing is ... who do you put in at 12?

Pollard?

If Pollard then who plays at 10?

Please don't you dare even suggest the useless Elton Jantjies.

Just a thought.

As if it boiled down to mere team selections.

And the thought about the SA rugby forward pack failing by lack of fitness is not that off the event.

More about this later.

Nienhaber says on Supersport, that Boks fell asleep at crucial moments of the game.....ja sure the only two that is asleep is R&N....everything in Bok Rugby needs to be changed and they should start by sacking the whole coaching staff !! 1 Dimensional crap is all they got....very clear to see....then get rid off the Players that are being dragged along like Kolisi, DDA, Kriel, mapimpi, Dweba, orie, trevor, stef, Vermeulen, wiese the Penalty machine and bring in the right players, wilco, Schickerling,  Grobbelaar,  thsituka, Pepsi butelezi, Tyrone greene....with  the right coaching staff ...Dobbo or Jake as head coach, with laker and Snyman, and proper Gameplan, not Donkey 1 playbook....this is the only way forward....we will not win OZ with this Shit and oldies playing....the slow and now fast decline of our Rugby is the work of R&N, stick and Deon!

Yes Mike you make a great point about Rassie. The Boks will only benefit by having the great man back.

If anybody needs a chance at 12 its Willemse. Put Willie in at 15.

Is Nkosi injured?

I like the combatative way Faf plays but speed up the service.

Not starting Kitshof and Marx is wrong for whatever reason.

Vermuelen has been fading for some time.

When is Snyman coming back? Far better option than Mostert.

Congrats to Dave and Mike for reasonable comment for the most part.

Saffex, are you denying the Boks don’t regularly use stalling tactics?

If so, you need to wake up. You are getting to the Hasbeeno (can’t face reality) stage……

Moola, the All Blacks did exceptionally well. As I said on another thread, they just need to get their rhythm right and could be devastating, which they done.

Couple of things that stood out for me

  1. All Black Fat men: The size of their front row, Shanny Fritzel bringing a harder edge pretty much nullified the boks.
  2. Ruck Clear: The committed more numbers to the ruck
  3. Pick up and go: instead of shifting the ball, the actually had a few pick and go's from the ruck just to draw in a few more players around the ruck, great tactic for a flat defence.
  4. Kick Receive: Much better than last week. Chasers were poor, but all blacks did great at legally shielding the jumper.
  5. 1 2 Sucker punch, it was from these clean takes that led to the game changing try in the 72 minute when another useless up under were cleanly taken. The ball got shifted from the 22 to the other side where Ioni made huge meters up the field as the boks were the once struggling to keep up. Problem when you number 1 loosehead and 8 has to come on early when the so called starters can't even do 30 min.
  6. Wide Channels: Mpimpi and lack of proper back line cover was the main undoing.

Congratulations to the AB’s as they showed huge commitment and passionate improvements to last week. Our coach dished up a pile of poo with some bad individual performances, decision and option taking. We should not have lost this one, but we did.

the All Blacks did exceptionally well.

Waoooo. No fear.

No, they did not. They are a team that is doubting. They are recovering and are probably within in a deeper, larger crisis about what makes an AB team.

They played a minimalistic type of rugby, slightly above the standards of SA rugby and very far from AB standards.

They kept making errors that are atypical by AB standards.

Their head coach is on a hot seat, took the decisions he had to  to ensure a victory.

The NZ management has not been convinced by this exceptionally well as the head coach's position remains endangered.

This sounds like the shit Bark would come up with... a flat defence is superior to this shit. You need depth on attack you ignorant rock ape! Fuck me... how dumb dumb can you lot be?? Fancy yourself as a video analyst... stick to picking and eating the fluff from your belly button Kornkob/Bark.
