...both Naki boys rumoured to be heading North to join Taranaki coach Colin Cooper in his new coaching tenure replacing Dave Rennie at the Chiefs in 2018...
Cooper is also currently coaching the NZ Maori so who else can we poach this weekend Colin? ... with Cruden, Lowe, Kerr- Barlow amongst those leaving at the end of this season... a massive loss

...Could be quite a decent Chiefs backline next year if the rumours are true

Could also be a bit of a lolly scramble for Rebel / Force players depending on which Aussie team gets dropped...not that there is many worth having..

Yes, looks like the Chiefs are doing a good job of staying very competitive in spite of big names leaving the team. This will be important as we will be champs this year

Did McKenzie play 10 at school or something. I see he's starting there for MAB's. I'd of thought he would stay at 15.

...DMac plays at 10 for his provincial side Waikato ...and the MABs got JamesLowe, NMS and Proctor in the backline already who are all capable of playing at fullback...so it was a case of they had fullbacks for Africa and first five is his preferred position anyway...

McKenzie's dad reckons that flyhalf is his best position .

Yeah don't get to see many of the early morning games. Will sometimes watch a replay if the game was all the talk.
Gonna miss the second half MAB's tomorrow so will have to check scores via phone.
