Sorry I disagree strongly with you here about the number 12 and 13 positions.  Francois Steyn's [performances in matches are getting worse and worse.  he was shit poor all through the season and one cannot play him on reputation.   My center pairing would be Jean and De Allende.
Du Plessis is not an open sider = he is a blindside flank - better still a lock.  I think that if they want to play him - which they should - I would prefer him as a 7.   I would rather have either of Louw, Brussow or Burger at 6 than Du Plessis.
Sorry - I refer workingt locks not only line jumpers - and my pick would be Etzebeth and Van der Merwe - with De Jager on the bench.
My no 3 prop will be Malherbe or Coenie.  Whomsoever of those two starts - the other one should be on the bench.

Mike, as you know i agree with most of your logic and reasoning.
The post here has nothing to do with what we think or would like. What i am asking is for the participants to name the team that Meyer will select, as per the initial post.

Basically the same as the EOYT one, there will be some new additions to the squad though.

If Meyer pick Francois Steyn - he should be sent to an asylum or the criminally insane.  Mozart can join him there as well.  Mind you I know that Meyer prefers Malherbe as a tighthead and he is likely to start in that position.
