It's crazy to think he wasn't the first choice after fatty left. Let's hope the talent can match his level of coaching.

Foster did a great job getting the wee abs to the final and putting in a good, courageous performance.

Bit like kicj

King out Carel Du Plessis as Bok coach after the Bok scoring a record win over Oz. Mallet then took that team on a record series of wins. Carel laid the groundwork for that.

NZ has the talent and you are correct - As it has turned out - Foster has laid the groundwork.

The AB's next year wil be a new breed.

The All Blacks need to find some new locks. Retalick and Whitelock are major losses.
Scott Barrett is solid, but no world-beater.
Even at the end of the Steven Hanson era, if Retalick was not in the team the All Blacks struggled to gain parity.

I see Cane is leaving NZ with immediate effect and going to Japan.

Razor will be huge for the AB’s like Rassie has been for the Boks

I agree Saffex.

I think Rassie being huge for the Boks sums everything up - 2 world cups.

He has certainly achieved what he set out to do.

Lets get real - We measure coaches around world cup achievements and Rassie is now the most successful coach in world rugby.

And being a Kiwi and hate to say it - Saffex has been saying this all along

Good ABs are starting a new era, being divided over the coach & the up & down performance has not been a good thing. Congrats to Foster & the coaches for getting so close to the winning the RWC final but it’s time to move on. Razor will rekindle Hope & bring a new approach .
